My wife and I really enjoyed working with Pat and Petrina Ryan to build our new dream home. They were excellent to deal with from the start! Their attention to detail, communication and professionalism were exceptional throughout the building process and even afterwards. All the other contractors they work with are also of excellent quality and very professional. Contrary to our pre-existing beliefs, building our first home was a pleasure, rather than a stressful experience. They are very genuine people who take pride in the work that they do. If you wanted a builder of the highest quality, I wouldn't look much further than Ryan designer homes.

We had completed the redesign and renovation plans for our Mooloolaba canal home when we were introduced to Pat and Patrina Ryan. Renovation is probably not the right word to use for our job as it was almost a complete rebuild. We had already contracted with a builder so Pat was offering advice only. He asked a simple question, "How happy was I with the plans?" I answered about 80%. He said with a $600k budget 80% was not good enough and asked what I disliked about the current plans. I said that I thought the proposal to extend and vary the existing roof line dated the look. Within 20 minutes he and Patrina showed me how the house could look with an alternate roof treatment and at no additional cost. We had the plans redrawn to take on board their suggestions and ended up 100% satisfied with the end result. Strangely while they were not the builder or the architect/designers, I credit them with the fantastic outcome.

We have enjoyed a great working relationship with Ryan Designer Homes for over 7 years. RDH are friendly & professional and make us feel part of their team in all of their quality projects. Communication from their site foremen is always excellent and makes working with them enjoyable.

Ryan Designer Homes was recommended to us by friends who had used the company previously. We decided to engage Pat and Petrina Ryan when we wanted to build a retirement/beach house. As we did not live close by we knew that it was important that the communication between us was excellent and that the planning stage was done thoroughly. Petrina liaises between the client and the designers in the planning stage and then Pat takes over this role between the builder and the client once the structural work commences. The communication was effective and access to them always easy and productive. The onsite supervising builder was outstanding making the entire process a pleasure. Nothing we asked was too much trouble and no query unworthy of attention. The quality of the work totally satisfied us and no detail was overlooked. Altogether I am happy to recommend Ryan Designer Homes and can honestly say that the entire building process was a pleasure from start to finish.

The next big step was to decide where to move to and who to trust with the fit out. After months of searching, I finally found a suitable commercial premises in Maroochydore and engaged Ryan Designer Homes to do the fit out. To be honest, it was the best decision I made and I am truly happy with the outcome. Pat and Petrina were dedicated, patient and understanding. They listened to my needs (and wants) and came up with solutions to satisfy my requests. Being a franchisee, they were mindful of corporate requirements, colours and styling and seamlessly satisfied all aspects of the fit out. They were conscious of my time constraints and budget and nothing was a problem for them. They were involved in the whole fit out from start to finish and have since been out to visit me in my office. Ryan's architect listened intently to our brief and most importantly delivered house plans that met our budget. By going through the design and build process with Ryan's, we achieved a home designed specifically to our specifications and lifestyle. Ryan's architect worked with our ideas and translated them into visual concepts and nailed it. Having a project manager allowed the both of us to continue with our everyday lives whilst working full time. Ryan's kept us informed throughout the project and reminded us when certain decisions had to be made. Everything was so seamless and if there was anything we were unsure of, Ryan's were always there to clarify and explain. We love how every corner of this house is linked to its landscape. Large living area, internal courtyard, extensive decks and patios spaces, minimalist walls and the merging of indoor and outdoor living spaces make this house a true entertainer! Everyone that visits us, loves the house. We would recommend Ryan Designer homes to anyone that is looking to design and build their own home in the Sunshine Coast and we will definitely be using their services for our next build.
