Meera truly cares about her clients. She strives to fulfill their needs and expectations and strives to complete the best project possible. Meera is creative, dependable and honest. I have known and worked with Meera for over ten years, starting with my interior design studies at West Valley College. She is a pleasure to work with and supportive of both students and professional colleagues. When I first met her, she was the lead for the Interior Design Club Library at WVC. She has been my mentor and colleague in our volunteer activities for the Board of ASID (American Society of Interior Designers, Peninsula Chapter) where she served for two years as Development Director. Meera is a very sincere and responsible designer who can quickly grasp the client’s needs and goals, scope the project and move it to completion. I can give her my highest recommendation.

We worked with Meera during a major renovation/addition to our house. She was great to work with and is very patient with questions you have. She is very responsive and responds within a few hours via phone/email. We started using her mid way through the project and therefore needed a solution to problem with in a few hours and she always worked with us to find a solution in the short interval. She provides various layout options and detailed instructions so the contractor can follow them easily. Once she gets to know your style and preferences she helps you stay with the vision for the whole project through various selections.

We hired Meera through a friendly referral. We knew right away she was a perfect fit for our major home renovation project. She was thoroughly professional yet very amiable and warm. Not only she had a wealth of 20+ years experience as a licensed ASID designer, she had a keen eye for every aspect, even with the miniscule details which we never knew or had thought of before. She corresponded to our specific requests on adhering to as much ADA compliant, green and allergy friendly as possible in the most aesthetic design. She rendered our home design layouts with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, dining room, kitchen and living room expansion. Right after, she created a timeline with schedule of tasks, appointments, and deliveries. She thoroughly explained the pros and cons when choosing specific materials on tiles, furniture pieces, wall colors and similar sorts in a combination of visual, kinetic and physical sense. She worked around with our budget quite well although we ended up stretching out a bit because we ended up falling in love with the materials per her recommendations. Often, I can be finicky and ardous most of the times. Nonetheless, she was up for my challenges which she invested her thoughts, energy and passion in my home remodel project. Hence, she was able to produce my dream home that truly defined me and my family. Most importantly of all, she amazingly was able to meet our demand on creating an ADA compliant, energy efficient, green and allergy friendly home in both a visual and physical sense. None of this would be possible without her by our side! We look forward to move in a few weeks!

Meera Chawla has advised me on the decor of my home overlooking the water in Foster City. There were challenges to convert it from an old-fashioned decor to something lively and inviting without overwhelming cost. While working with Ms. Chawla I was impressed by her willingness to focus on my requests and dreams with such personal grace and professionalism. Details matter to me and there, again, we harmonized on the best path to the results I sought. The years of her experience are clear so my home has been revived.
