Our Scobis custom door is simply beautiful! The materials and the workmanship are outstanding. The installation team was amazing. The entire process was highly professional and made it possible for us to enjoy creating our dream door. Our new door and side lights are perfect for the look of our home. They combine wood and glass. The finish on the wood portion is perfect. The door is taller than our old door, achieving much more appealing proportions with the front of our home. I hired Mike with Scobis to create a special front door for our residence. He needed to work with special river harvested pine which is 200-500 years old. Indeed, he put together the door at his shop and installed it at our residence with great skill. The look is just what I had expected. His design and workmanship applying linear grain wood and curly wood turned out great. He has continued to work with the door as the temp and humidity has affected the wood over some of our extreme seasons. In addition he has installed hardware on other existing doors in our house to give it a much more finished look which we desired. And, in all of his work he stayed within his budgeted price.
