The project in't finished yet, but the work going on at the site reaches the highest levels of craftmanship that I have ever seen. Everything is being done with utmost care and exactitude. The owner of Shelterwood is very attentive to quality and to detail and communicates well with us. He is also an expert in the construction techniques needed for our passive house design. Can't wait until our house is finished!

It is a very rare to find craftspeople who are also eager to build houses that work as truly integrated high performance buildings, but it's a testament to Shelterwood's desire to build houses that are high quality both inside and out. They milled white pine from the project site into beautiful wide plank flooring with the same excitement as they dove into the technical aspects of Passive House energy metrics. We would happily work with them again at the next opportunity.
