Skip and his entire team will give you and your project 150%. My bathroom remodel was handled with great care and professionalism. Every phone call answered, and no question too small or insignificant for Skip's prompt response. The crew of three, Marty, Ethan and Bryan showed up every day and worked all day, with Skip and Rich showing up on site frequently. There was no "jumping off the project" to go to another one, something I'm sure most folks have experienced from other contractors. Upon completion, Marty, Ethan, Bryan and Teresa's cleaning crew put everything back as if they'd never been here, and quietly left. The end result is the bathroom of my dreams and everything I wanted! I wish Skip and his entire team the most success, and will definitely call again when I'm to replace my porch. We had a large remodel project that Skip's team completed in 2021. We loved the product and workmanship so much, we used Skip again for construction of an all season sunroom in 2023. He helped us come up with a fantastic end product! Whenever we wanted to make a minor change or add something not in the original plan, he never "nickel and dimed" extra costs to do so. His crews were experts at their crafts, honest, reliable, and a pleasure seeing them come to the job site every day. They always cleaned up after every workday. On several occasions, Skip didn't like the way something looked as originally envisioned so he would make the change for the better at no additional cost or delay. We highly recommend Before and After Builders to anyone seeking excellence in home remodeling and construction.

We have been in the same home for the last 20 years, and it was in need of a remodel. This was a major project including three full bathrooms, kitchen, hearth room and all windows in the house. We had a very thorough interview process with a long list of detailed questions and discussed this project with several contractors. Skip Collins, the owner of Before and After Builders was interviewed and was able to answer every question we posed in extremely detailed fashion. In addition to seeing a long history of his Before and After project results, we were satisfied with his description on how the job would be managed. We appreciated the attention to detail, the time invested with us and the plan he set forth to complete the project. Aside from the obvious considerations of being licensed and insured, the top considerations for hiring a contractor that were important to us are: 1. Is the contractor capable, and does he have a capable team at his disposal to complete the work? 2. Does he have a clear plan outlined on how he will accomplish this? 3. Will he be on site on a regular basis supervising the work, ensuring it is done properly? 4. Does he have a strong network of suppliers that he works with to acquire the materials we need at a reasonable price? 5. Is he willing to get the proper permits? 6. Does he have strong communication skills? 7. Is he going to protect the rest of your house from the mess spilling over? 8. Is this person and his crew trustworthy? These considerations are just table stakes to earn business. Skip and his team met or exceeded expectations for all of these items. The work was performed on time, slightly ahead of the timeline that was outlined day 1 of the project kickoff. He has strong demand for his service from other clients, so he was not able to start as early as we would have liked, but this was understood in the beginning. After starting, they were working every day. This job was a priority. No sick dogs, truck broke down, etc. Skip and his guys show up. They were honest and trustworthy. We were completely comfortable with his crew in our home even when not home, and prior to this, we never allowed any workers over when we are not home. They did what they said they would do. The communication was excellent. In addition to a well communicated plan, the progress and addressing minor issues was very good. There were some minor hiccups along the way as would be expected in a project this size, but all were addressed, and no excuses were ever given. They executed the plan of the designer and also provided great ideas and insight from their many years of experience. The quality of the work of the work was exceptional. The results look great, but I am also confident in the workmanship beyond the aesthetic appeal. I’m limited to 3000 characters, so I can’t include all the great things, but will say I strongly recommend Skip and Before and After Builders. We already are asking him to quote another project.

Skip and his crew were amazing partners in our bathroom renovation! They had recently installed interior French doors for an office and rearranged our laundry room, so we felt confident they'd do superb work in our bathroom as well. Their work is pristine-- tile-work, trim, cabinetry, top to bottom. They took such time and care with each element. The floors alone are an embarrassment of riches: radiant heat topped with wood-look tile in a truly gorgeous herringbone pattern. Skip's crew of Agustin, Miguel, and Travis made sure every piece was placed perfectly; they were also warm, pleasant, and patient with our chaotic household while they worked. I work from home, our elementary-age kiddo and mischievous pets were frequently running amok, yet the Before & After dream team was calm, cordial, and had an excellent sense of humor about bratty cats visiting their workspace. I could always feel confident that, whether we had to be out of the house or I needed to be on a work call-- even when we had to quarantine ourselves in a bout of covid-- they had everything handled. Skip is a true master at what he does: he was the perfect companion when we shopped for fixtures, tile, and countertops, simplifying our choices so we never spiraled into indecision the way we'd have done on our own. He listened carefully to what we wanted, guided us through examples of similar projects, and helped us articulate our preferences. I really appreciated that he made sure the results truly suited us, but we also felt like his most amazing skill was being calm and unruffled, buffering us from any bumps in the process. Skip and his associate Rich regularly checked in on-site, kept us updated on major deliveries, and addressed any of our concerns or questions. It was a remarkably smooth process, and the results are better than we could've imagined.

Before and After Builders are the absolute BEST home contractor. Skip and his crews go the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy with each step of a project. After they recently completed a project for us I could never think about having anyone but Before and After Builders to remodel and update our home. They made sure we were totally satisfied. Everything was detailed in the proposal and we were kept informed about each step of the project. I would rate them more that 5 stars if possible.

I was very fortunate to find Before and After. I wanted to have a wall removed between my kitchen and family room to open up the space. I had been told that it could not be done. I talked to several other contractors and it was something about the personality of this guy that sold me. Skip and his crew did an outstanding job on my kitchen. If you did not see the before you would never know it was the same kitchen. The transformation is beautiful and just what I wanted. Skip not only help me with some unusual recommendations, he took me shopping and I got to pick out special things that were unique to my specific taste. Not only is he experience in his line of work, but he has very eloquent taste. He makes suggestion and matches things to perfection. He really has the patience of Job. No matter what goes wrong, he is there going above and beyond to make it right. He has an eye to catch the little things to do what I call beautifying. He took my old kitchen and made it look like a million dollars. He is a wonderful person to work with and he has an excellent crew doing the work. If I had to do it again, I would not change a thing. I would highly recommend Skip and his crew for any transformation you have in your home. I guarantee you will not regret it!

Skip and his team were great communicators, timely, and clean. The workers were all very polite and friendly. They were not rushing the job- they took time to make sure everything was done right. I will use them again for other renovations we need!

We have used this company for more than 6 years. Everything from a large kitchen update, to fixing massive damage as a result of a water heater leak that destroyed the entire bottom floor of our house. Skip @Before and After Builders treated us like family. Seriously! He and his team were really good at following up so as to ensure we were never left in the dark. He & his team have a real instinct & skill set on quality and kindness. NO lie!!!! They ALWAYS showed up on time, worked hard, and cleaned up afterwards. I am moving out of state and wish I could take them with us.

After many conversations Tony and I decided we want an “age in place” master bathroom. We looked at remodels here in our neighborhood and very impressed with them. Skip, with Before and after Builders was recommended and was told they would not use anyone else. Read the reviews and all has been said about how great they are. Skip, Rich, Marty and Bryan showed up as expected and made sure to answer our questions making sure we were happy. We are missing seein them already. Skip even took me shopping to pick what I liked. The master Bath project exceeded my expectations. I could no be more pleased. Features i didnt even expect put the project over the top. It is hard to pick one favorite feature as they are all great but if i had to the lighting is incredible and current!
