Jeff and his team did a wonderful job with our pergola and fence project. Jeff was able to show us a 3D rendering of the finished project before he even began. Southern Living Outdoors provided all the landscape services for the complete renovation of my home. The plant material they selected, delivered, and installed were excellent quality and exceeded my already high expectations. Jeff included me in the selection of some of the most important and expensive palms and plant material. We visited nurseries and even a trade show in an effort to get the best possible specimens for this project. Every member of this company was agreeable, friendly, and quick to provide the level of service that was required. Like any largescale job, there were changes and challenges that had to be dealt with. I found all the craftsmen in this company to be eager to assist me in making the best decisions in design and grade changes as well as additional plantings. In fact they were eager and able to assist in areas outside their direct scope of work to make the job flow efficiently and accomplish the look I wanted. I have worked with Jeff’s company for over five years managing the landscapes at my home and a commercial property. They are able to provide services in many different areas which not only saves me time but assures I will get the service I want. For my home project they included an outdoor LED lighting system that gives my family an experience similar to a beautiful resort. We found Southern Living Outdoors when we made the decision to add a deck to our backyard earlier this year. We had a unique challenge with our property as the house is situated toward the back corner of our quarter-acre lot, leaving a large side yard but a back yard that was more or less an 10x20 area of sloped and eroded dirt. We knew we wanted a platform deck to make the space more usable and thought a simple two-tier deck would be a simple and beautiful solution to our challenge. We researched for months, dealing with and being challenged with companies that felt our project was too small for them or provided quotes that were vague and hard to tell what the project would actually look like.... THEN... we found Southern Living Outdoors! Finding Jeff and his boys (Ben and Brandon) was such a dream come true for us! Not only did they not blow us off, Jeff personally visited us to understand what our vision was, what the property looked like and could offer --- and built us a WALK-THRU VIDEO of what he envisioned it could be. He expanded on our vision of just creating a simple living space and incorporated so many new and cool ideas that we hadn't considered and even found ways to work in the rest of our property so it all flowed together with a purpose rather than as individual projects that happened to be built next to each other. He truly cared about creating a vision that we would love and could continue to love for years to come. He incorporated small details that were descriptive of us like our fierce support of UCF and adding our beloved dog into the mock video! Instead of getting a simple two-tiered platform deck, we ended up with that PLUS a gorgeous bar table wrapping around the tree (leveraging a natural canopy of branches/leaves), a firepit AND a buried storage area for our grill accessories. Ben and his boys are hard-working, friendly and quickly became people we happily call friends. We are thrilled to be lifetime customers of Southern Living Outdoors and have already recommended them to several friends as well as our community. We can't wait to get started on the next project with them!

Southern Living Outdoors helped me conceptualize, design and build the outdoor space that exceeded my expectations.
