We purchased a large, 13 year old home in Michigan in 2013. After checking out several home automation providers we decided on Spire. The planning stage was thorough and covered everything from wiring to specific equipment requests. Because this was an existing home, fairly extensive infrastructure prewiring was needed. The crew was always considerate and meticulous in their work. Spire pretests all equipment in their shop before installing so when this phase of the project begins, there are no surprises. Upon completion, a documentation package is provided along with training for the users. The system works beautifully. We can access everything in the home remotely including, security, door locks, lighting, HVAC, audio/visual and security cameras. Follow up visits and service technicians are only a phone call away. The other important point to make is that there were no last minute surprises in terms of cost. The quote we received at the beginning of the project never changed unless we made an additional request. To summarize, every person and experience we have had and continue to have with this organization has been first class and extremely professional. I recommend them without any hesitation.

They really took a lot of time to properly understand what I would use the system for and what my future needs would be to build and develop the right combination for me. The second half that was a great surprise was how professional, clean, and precise the installation was. Everything looks so good not only in the room, but also in the back of the wall where no one takes care to make things look good.

I hired this company in 2014 to install a control 4 system at my residence. Jason, the project manager, did a great job planning and organizing the project. The installers were very professional and respectful. The project came out great! This year, I hired them again for another project as I was happy with my first experience.

I highly recommend Spire for your audiovisual/media needs. I have used them for outdoor speakers and TV installation. Everyone was great to work with....professional and responsive. I am using them again now for a media area in my basement and couldn't be more pleased with how the process has gone so far. I'm looking forward to the final result!

Spire updated our system which is so much easier to use... We don't need instructions written out by the control panel anymore. Hooray! The installation went according to the plan they outlined. The crew showed up/finished on time and the best part was they brought their own vacuum and cleaned up after themselves every day. They went above expectations! Even a couple of months after the installation was completed complete, there was a brown out that messed up some of our system. Spire was super in helping us reprogram without any additional charge. I would highly recommend Spire. They were fabulous to work with!

Spire provided whole house automation 8 years ago, installing Control 4 , 6 flat screens and a movie room. They designed the movie room from the ground up. My most honest assessment is that this system never breaks. It has been so reliable and only once have we had to call because the front speaker sounded tinny. Jason came out and ordered a replacement and dealt with the manufacturer. It was no charge. Spire is not cheap but I remember Novot talking me down from my aspirations of ridiculous speakers in our great room because he felt the acoustics of the great room couldn't support these speakers. This was so refreshing to be undersold in a world that always over sells you. Their service and clientele is top notch and I am a happy user.

I hired Spire to install a smart home system, Control 4, in my home as well as built in speakers and TVs.
