A recognized steward of island landscapes, Island Gardens Company has been in continuous operation since 1979, providing skilled and sensitive design, installation from seashore to inland meadows to deep forested lands. Recognizing that a well-designed landscape is both beautiful and functional, Island Gardens specializes in native plants - and plants adapted to our native conditions - paying close attention to the needs of our clients as well as the unique features of each site. Island Gardens has grown into a stable, well-trained and experienced work force of 21 people. Our supervisors in the field have been with the company for many years. We have primarily worked on San Juan Island, and also on Orcas, Lopez and Shaw, further extending our knowledge of the ecosystems of our archipelago.
