studio ATARA

As creative director, I have set up studio ATARA as an extension of my work with dynamic interior design practice Cooley & Rose - which I co-owned alongside fellow designer Nina Cooley - and continuing along the same strong design principles & ethos. Our partnership drew on our many years of collective experience; with a shared ambition to bring our skill and vision to clients looking for contemporary eclectic design, in a personable, and above all, accessible way. We imaginatively created original design schemes, with well thought out, practical solutions. Developing the concept, space planning, sourcing furniture and finishes, as well as appointing trusted building professionals, whilst always carefully guiding our clients through the whole process. We approached each project with an open mind and a non-exclusive approach. Aiming to create a natural look to reflect the client, rather than impose a prescribed view of how we thought it should look. We used a mix of eclectic styles, treating each project as individual one offs. Eclectic to us is about being inclusive & diverse, with both style & ideas. Paired with contemporary design principles, we offer cohesive, space enhancing, interesting and pragmatic designs. We put a lot of emphasis on interpreting our clients’ dream, to identify their true inner, distinctive style, creating a home that is stylish, enticing and above-all, truly theirs. Following on from establishing this special, successful partnership, studio ATARA continues to create beautiful, original, well thought out, residential designs - helping our clients live better, happier, lives.
