Susan is an amazing designer and general contractor. She did what was ultimately an entire house remodel for us. This included bathrooms, kitchen, family room, bedrooms and other improvements. She has great design ideas and sense. One of the key differentiators between Susan and other designers is that she can also do the remodeling work with her own company. She has very skilled and dedicated craftsmen who provide these services. This includes electrical, plumbing, tile, painting and even picture hanging. Her capabilities also extend to niche products (which we did) such as steam showers and outdoor mister fans. While these craftsmen are great in their own right, Susan's presence overseeing all their work and her attention to detail results in a beautiful finished product. She is very dependable and gets things done quickly and on time. You always know the cost ahead of time, which is an added benefit. I am an architect who has had the fortunate opportunity to collaborate with this talented interior designer on two occasions. The first was an addition/remodel of an existing home in The Woodlands. Susan opened a series of confining walls and spaces to create a beautiful Great Room that connects well with the outside landscape. The appointments in the space create a distinct personality that was not there before, and her clients are very happy with the result. The second, ongoing project is a large, isolated Ranch House retreat for a hunter and his family outside of Dallas. In this instance she needed to be sensitive to both the informal ruggedness of a hunting lodge and the formality of gracious living requested by her clients. Susan's ability to merge these vastly different styles was nothing less than remarkable. One of the major benefits of working with Susan is that she is both a designer and contractor. We contracted with Susan to design and renovate our kitchen, living/family room, laundry and bathroom. Renovations required the removal of an interior load bearing wall and moving 2 exterior walls to expand the kitchen and living/family room. Susan’s eye for detail, design skills and ability to visualize the end result are amazing. She is great to work with, listened carefully to our requests, reacted immediately to our concerns and was onsite almost every day. Her subcontractors are knowledgeable, very responsive, timely and thorough. Susan is an excellent communicator and follows-up on all issues/questions. She uses quality materials and customized to our requests/desires.

I hired Susan for 2 major updates and renovations. My kitchen and master suite and added a balcony. She was both the designer and general contractor. She is great to work with and manages the project down to the smallest details that I wouldn't have noticed, but she did! Her subcontractors are excellent, very responsive, timely and thorough. Susan was on-site everyday for most of the day. I didn't have to worry about anything. She treated my home like her own. We had the added bonus of an excellent designer and contractor in one.

We moved to a larger home and needed help. Susan "got" my style immediately. She selected fabrics that I loved and also worked with some of the furniture I already had. She updated the bookshelves and fireplace so the house didn't look like it was built in the 90's! The walls were plastered in three rooms; custom furniture was designed & ordered along with draperies. Even five years after we did all this, friends remark how pretty our home is and people who come to the house for the first time, think the house is new. I still walk through very satisfied and loving what Susan did. I wanted a serene decor and that is the word people use when they see my home for the first time.
