We needed to have both our front and side porches rebuilt. We decided to also extend the front porch at the same time. The project included changing the roof line to cover the porch and required CRMC approvals as we are located on Narragansett Bay. During the job some earlier building deficiencies were discovered and had to be corrected. We are so totally delighted with the whole project !!! We never could have imagined how nice it would look when complete. Mike and his whole crew were very professional and pleasant to work with. They delivered what they promised on time and within the agreed upon budget. They returned as promised for those last minute little items as well. Mike Tavares helped us through every step of the process of expanding and remodeling our kitchen and adding a walk-in customized master closet. The kitchen was totally gutted and replaced with beautiful cabinets, granite counter tops and appliances. From the lighting to the flooring everything was done perfectly. Mike personally designed the master walk-in closet and adjusted it to our needs for additional space and organization. All walls were given a new coat of paint and floors were refinished or replaced. Our house was transformed from an old cluttered mess to a spacious organized dream home all within a few weeks! Thanks Mike and Crew!

Designed and renovated a screened in porch attached to our home into an extension of our living area which involved demolishing the existing structure, raising the floor, enclosing the area, installing the windows and the electrical and heating systems.The trim and paint were matched to the existing decor. Everything was done on time and on schedule and on budget. Mike listened to us and was patient when we were indecisive. Mike and his team were always professional and courteous. They kept the area neat throughout the job. We are thrilled with the results! The room looks like it has always been there.

Tavares construction completely remodeled our home in Jamestown Rhode Island! We put on a second level which consisted Master Bedroom with en suite bathe, plus two other bedrooms and bath, plus laundry area! The first floor was completely remodeled with open plan living areas, wonderful stone woodburning fireplace , lots of built ins, new kitchen with center island, granite counters, stone back splash, stainless steal appliances, new cabinets! They essentially gutted the house and rebuilt it!! My husband and I can not say enough about how amazing they were! From the beginning of the process right to the end! Nothing was ever a problem! They were extremely professional and hardworking to get the job done!!! We would highly recommend Michael Tavares construction to anyone!! Even the Jamestown building inspector was very impressed with them !!!!

I have hired this company to do multiple jobs on my home including but not limited to a new roof/window/door replacement and hardwood flooring installation along with minor house repairs. Had a complete inside/outside renovation done.new siding, all new windows. Inside: New kitchen, floors, ceilings. In process of finishing bathroom and last two bedrooms......professional, meticulous work! Kept within budget. Family and friends cannot believe it's the same house! Believe me that this house had a multititude of serious problems that other contractors refuse to handle! I am thrilled with my "new" home!!!
