I am a freelance fine art photographer from Fort Worth, Texas. My experiences matter and have shaped my story. I am drawn to travel destinations, people in their own environments and all things rural! I place importance on surrounding myself with images of the real life around me, not simply 'canned art'. Life is so much better when your walls remind you where you've been and who you've been there with!! My style is easily definable: My images are filled with color. My favorite palettes are the secondary ones- blues, yellows! As for my perspective and shooting composition, I simply cannot just shoot a picture- my compositions are developed to describe 'what something feels like, not what it looks like'. You will see a recurring notion in my images. My images are products of good dreaming- I am certain contemplating, planning and seeking the unusual perspective makes a great photograph. I love to assist designers and decorators and individual clients alike, to put the final touch on their magnificent spaces by providing wall decor that is sublimely perfect. I work one-on-one, from near or far, with clients to customize the look for their walls. I listen closely, have a visual 'notebook' that I create for them, and I will produce the art that tailors to their wants and needs. On a personal level, I shoot images that will preserve my memories and experiences. My mother died of Alzheimers and the experience of watching her memories of her life and fabulous experiences fade have profoundly influenced me. I am driven to create images that will always tell the story of my life, even if my memory also fades. When I am not on the next grand adventure, I own a fine art portrait studio in Texas. My studio has been one of my greatest joys. The act of creating memories for mothers and dads is very fulfilling I am the mother of four successful and adorable children. I am an MBA. I am an Enron-survivor. I've chaired Galas, sat on School Advisory Councils, run golf tournaments, volunteered endlessly. Now it's my time. As an empty nester, (at a young age, lol) I now can focus my energy where it's always wanted to go- the world through a lens. When I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope that I would not have a single bit of talent left, and could say " I used everything You gave me". - Erma Bombeck
