This was my first home renovation and naturally I was nervous going into it. It seemed like everyone in my circle had a bad experience at some point or another with a home renovation. I researched several options between contractors / interior designers and ended up interviewing five in person. I picked Terri White Design because Terri was not only professional but, more importantly, straight forward. Terri also stood out from the other designers in that she arrived at the appointment with the contractor she partnered with, Jesse, from Ackley Construction. To be honest, looking back, selecting a vendor was probably the most difficult part of the renovation. The process was pretty straightforward after going with Terri. Met Terri for a couple hours to pick styles and finishes at a few stores so we could land on a look for the home. After that the demo begun then.....COVID hit. My job is based out of Atlanta and the renovation was in St. Pete. Due to the pandemic shutdown I was not able to make it down to St. Pete to check on the project until it was about 90% completed. During the lock-down Terri, Jesse and the team were INCREDIBLE! We got into a rhythm where we would text when questions needed to be answered or jumped on the phone to talk it out if we needed. Pictures and videos were sent every step of the way so that when I actually walked into the home nothing was a surprise even though I had a smile ear to ear because it was like stepping into a new home :) I will use and recommend Terri White Design. What I appreciated the most about that team is that they took my vision and took it to another level. They helped me become a more educated home owner, as I know little about construction, they listened to my ideas while at the same time helping me go outside my comfort zone to try new styles (like horizontal kitchen cabinets) that I wouldn't otherwise consider. I truly can’t say anything bad about this group, they came at or below budget on all line items and delivered above and beyond the expectation. Thank you Terri and Jesse!

Unlike the designers I have met Terri cares about what you envision your home will look like. She takes all your wants, needs and dreams and turns them into your DREAM HOME. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Terri on our home project in Tampa! Her creative insight, passion for her work and her sheer talent made our transition seamless and a true joy. We engage Terri to decorate a waterfront condo in downtown St. Petersburg The challenge was we lived 2 hours away by plane in another state. Additionally the due to business and personal travel there was limited time to spare for this project. In four impactful meetings Terri was able to do the following: -- understand us and how we wanted "to live in the condo" versus just "decorate it -- identify ideas that met our budget and the desired feel we wanted for the property -- recommend, select and effectively manage vendors -- select fabrics, lighting, flooring, furniture and decorative pieces that gave us a lot to choose from. -- successfully completing the project where we were able to walk in Day 1 and begin to enjoy our new condo The biggest challenge was making selections because all of the options were outstanding. She took the time on the front end to really understand us which meant all recommendations were viable options. Terri kept us informed using emails, text and conference calls. We have used decorators in the past and despite the difference in location the collaborative nature of how Terri worked help us achieve the vision we desired within the budget we established. She did an excellent job of recommending options to ensure the money was spent in areas that achieved the biggest impact. I highly recommend her for her creativity, flexibility and collaborative approach. She is already on our 2nd project.

We just completed a new build on the water in Belleair and just simply could not have done it without Terri White! We hired Terri not only to help with all of our interior and exterior furnishings but to help with the hundreds of finishing selections along the building process. We were new to this process and we needed the help of a true professional. At our very first meeting I was able to show Terri a few of my inspiration photos and answer her questions about our style and function. She got it!
