Wanted to let people know how great our experience with Twisted Rock was. Our project was not that big but involved removal of sod, re-landscaping our backyard slope and adding a retaining wall. Jeff and Tim provided a very reasonable quote and advised it would take 2-3 days to complete. I couldn't believe it but in 2 days they had completed all the work. The equipment they had at their disposal was above and beyond my expectation. They even brought in a tamper mounted on a mini backhoe just to ensure they had good soil compaction. Everyone on the team worked hard, knew what to do and took the time to answer any questions I had. Very impressed with the quality of their work. I definitely would recommend Twisted Rock to anyone considering a landscaping project.

Your work on our yard development project was exemplary. Our design discussions were very productive and produced the layout we were hoping for. Your project management was top notch and produced the result within budget and on time, under sometimes difficult conditions. Your construction skills were also top notch and all our visitors have commented on the excellence of workmanship. Subsequent lot property surveys have confirmed that you were always within the lot lines and our neighbours were pleased with how you respected their property rights during the construction phase. Your team members were always friendly and courteous as well as efficient. The Rundle Rock and retaining walls are stable and performed as expected: no erosions occurred through the autumn rains and early winter snows. Runoff confirmed that the soil and gravel stayed in place and the landscaping membrane has also remained intact and stable. This is no small thing considering the 30% slope and near 6m elevation difference between the utility corridor fence and the patio. The patio stones have also been as per plan, are stable and shed water quite well. It has endured two snow melt/refreeze cycles with no damage. Visitors always commented on the layout pattern of the stones and true-ness of the stones to the curved edge next to the retaining wall. The spruce mini forest seems to be surviving, despite the recent drought conditions we have experienced, with no signs of damage. In summary, the project development and site work were performed efficiently and effectively. The deliverables have performed well, and the yard looks great. We enjoyed working with you and are pleased with the experience and the final product. We will continue to recommend you to anyone who is looking for a top quality landscaping firm.

Jeff and his crew at Twisted Rock did an amazing job on our yard. Their attention to detail is high. It rare too see a company put 100% towards customer satisfaction and final product over making the extra dollar. We have a yard that we will enjoy for years to come.

Jeff and team were outstanding to work with. Proficient and attentive, they listened to our hopes for our backyard space and gave us great ideas (even brought wise perspective to counter some ideas we'd had that wouldn't have been as good). Their team kept our site really neat and tidy during the whole process (and they moved quick! It was done in record time!) I think a true test of service is when you encounter hiccups. We had a couple things pop up—a tree that wasn't located quite right, a bed that didn't feel the right size after seeing it roughed out, etc.—and they were very prompt, very gracious, and really made us feel safe to give that kind of feedback. Top marks, guys! We'd definitely do another project with you!

Twisted Rock was very professional throughout our entire landscaping process! Communication was key. All questions were answered in a timely fashion. The job site crew were friendly and they worked efficiently. The work area was always clean prior to leaving at the end of the day. Twisted Rock completed our front, back and side yard. It included sod, rocks, stone patio with gas fire pit, shrubs, and trees. We would have no problem recommending this company to friends and family.

Jeff, Tim and team took our total mess of a yard and made it into a beautiful oasis for us. We not only enjoyed seeing the motley landscape transform into our dream yard, but also we enjoyed getting to know the crew over the weeks they spent at our place. The initial consultation was timely and comfortable. Design was precise and detailed. Jeff gave us lots of options with no pressure to do more than we needed or wanted. The project started when scheduled, and the one-crew-one-project approach meant that no time was wasted or lost in completing our project. The crew was friendly, professional, hard working and seriously talented. They cleaned up the site everyday. Pricing was comparable with other reputable companies, and the overall value exceeded our expectations. Overall, we are thrilled with the end result and will use Twisted Rock again in a heartbeat. You soon realize after meeting the folks at Twisted Rock you have met someone who cares, about what they do and what they do for you. We were left with an eyesore and erosional risk to the driveway at our new home. Soon after Jeff got there he had a practical rock retaining wall solution. They came when they told us, they completed as they said and the retaining wall they gave us is wonderful. What really impressed me however was the teamwork and care that all your employees showed for not just us, but each other, that was very refreshing for me.

Now comes the easy part. The Twisted Rock crew arrives with a commanding presence. Modern, well-maintained machinery bring your materials and start to work the earth. All team members are professional, respectful of the property, and each other. They are as committed to the project as the owners and none of them are there to lean on a shovel. Each day, the site buzzes with activity and the project moves along with expediency - blink and you’ll miss it. On the last day, a thorough cleanup is completed with the same vigour - there isn’t a trace of construction left behind. What makes Twisted Rock stand out, is the culmination of all the ways they go over and above. Small details like the thick landscape fabric, healthy plants, and a wide selection of material choices. Team members that say “Good Morning” if you pop outside. Or, the obsessive attention to detail - laser levels, string lines, and ever-present project managers making sure everything is done right the first time. In my case, a large paver stone patio, front and back yards with trees, box steps, and stepping stones. Everything was done on time and without flaws - I’ve looked. I cannot recommend Twisted Rock enough for a worry-free experience, working with quality people. Thank you!!

From our first meeting with Paul we knew they were the company to hire! He presented a very professional information package and answered all of our questions. Every trade hired for the various tasks (concrete, Tim with fencing, the irrigation, etc) were nothing but professional and polite. Together we came up with a plan and it was executed exactly as discussed. They took pride in their work and it shows. We have received so many compliments on our yard from neighbors and passerbys. We will definitely call upon them for future projects!

This was our second project with Twisted Rock and once again the masters of their craft came thru. They managed every part of the process efficiently, from design and certification to supply and install. Our yard turned out beautifully and we are very much looking forward to years of enjoyment in it. Paul, Tim and Jeff are excellent to deal with and their staff are superb. We interviewed three different landscapers for our project in Canmore. Twisted Rock far exceeded our expectations from their open communication, easy accessibility and precise quoting came in on budget.
