We recently used Eden Builders to remodel our very old kitchen, put in new flooring and paint the while interior of our newly bought home. We cannot say enough positive things about our experience working with them. They were fantastic! From the initial design phase to the project plan execution, the whole process was straightforward, well-organized, efficient and stress free! Alex (Project Manager) knew exactly what he was doing. Considering it was our first time remodeling, Alex always had referrals and/or recommendations for us when it came to purchasing or selecting hardware, appliances and materials. He's just so professional, but also very passionate about the work. He really paid attention to each job and made sure it was done properly. Also helps that he was approachable and very easy to talk to. The crew was also very professional, good with timelines, and detail-oriented. They were always polite and respectful and of course, very good at what they do. We ran into a lot of hurdles during the remodeling process, because you don't know what you don't know when you buy a new home. A lot of unexpected things came up, which had nothing to do with Eden Builders, but Alex and his team were always patient and understanding, and would go above and beyond to help us resolve the issues at a moment's notice. Very good at communicating and always willing to answer any questions or concerns we had, in a timely manner. We highly recommend Alex and his team at Eden Builders. We have already been in contact with him to help us on our next home project, because we know they're reliable and they do quality work! We absolutely LOVE our new kitchen!

If we could give 10 stars we would! Oren and the team at Eden Builders did an outstanding job on our renovations. Oren was extremely involved and accessible throughout the entire process, from planning to permitting to construction. We were very impressed by the professionalism and skill of the entire crew and would certainly recommend them to friends and family. Oren's attention to detail was fantastic and we knew we were in safe hands while working with him. The entire team did a great job creating the home of our dreams!

Eden Builders, and in particular Alex V, is amazing. Alex is trustworthy, experienced, and full of great ideas. When we were coming up with our plan for renovating an old house we were moving into, Alex helped us come up with ways to make the house feel new and up-to-date, and always within our budget. When issues came up along the way, he helped us problem-solve and find a good solution. We never felt like we were being upsold, and we always felt like Alex was above-board, straight-forward, and solution oriented. In the end, the project turned out better than we could have hoped for. Every day in our house we appreciate the great work Alex and Eden Builders did for us. They are real partners.

We recently worked with Alex and his team at Eden to completely remodel our primary bathroom. Throughout the project, they were always on time, responsive, *extremely* organized, and got the job done ahead of plan. We liked them so much we added a couple of additional projects and they took them all on while they were here. We now have an amazing new bathroom along with the other work they did. We highly recommend Eden for any home project and will hire them again for future renovations and upgrades.

We were so LUCKY to meet and find Alex @Eden Builders. We interviewed several General Contractors at our home where we wanted to do a major renovation. The project included but was not limited to 3 bathrooms, the kitchen to include custom cabinetry, flooring throughout, marble tiling, and multiple light fixtures. Other candidates provided unreasonable bids and did not have the same level of meticulous attention Alex provided from the very first moment of our walkthrough. Throughout the project, Alex was responsive, honest, and friendly. He did not sugarcoat what had to be done in order to achieve our objectives and provided estimates as best as possible upfront. He also allowed us to be creative as we wanted while being pragmatic about permits, cost, time, and space. Although our project was a major renovation, Alex and his team can handle projects of all sizes throughout the San Fernando Valley and surrounding areas. In fact, Alex and I have already been discussing plans to redo our backyard and pool. Highly skilled and experienced, Alex has truly earned his title as our “go to guy” for all things related to home renovation. We love the way EVERYTHING turned out. Zero complaints!

As a fairly new homeowner, home improvement projects are a brand new world for me. I had been asking friends casually if they knew any good contractors. Most of the referrals were either ones who took large projects for big buildings or they were amateurs. When a trusted friend showed me her new kitchen, I knew I had to call whomever did the work. I am extremely detail oriented and OCD with my expectations and I could tell the contractors who did her kitchen would live up to my expectations. She gave me Alex's number from Eden Builders and he responded right away. He set up and appointment and arrived on time. He wrote out the proposal and sent it to me right away. Alex is a dream contractor for me because he is straight forward, has a strong work ethic. He is always on time, he manages projects to the tiniest detail, and always texts/emails right away. The workers he brings in to do all of the work share that same work ethic. They were always on time, professional and polite and detail-oriented for those with OCD like me. I wanted to break up my home improvement into pieces so I only did my master shower. It was a small project in comparison to what Eden typically does and for that I am extremely appreciative. I probably could have gone with a cheaper contractor but I am sure I wouldn't have ended up with this high of quality work. So, it's worth it in the long run. I absolutely LOVE my shower. It's a dream for me and I can't wait to do the next project with Eden.

We recently completed a home addition and kitchen remodel with Alex of Eden Builders. We went from 2 bed/1 bath to a 3 bed/2 bath plus a laundry room and family room. In total we added 592 square feet. We started the project a couple of months into COVID so my family ended up working/schooling from home during the entire construction period. It was certainly challenging to live and work in the space during construction, but Alex made it as smooth and comfortable as possible for us. The project lasted around 8 months and turned out lovely. We are very happy with the results and with Alex. Alex is excellent with details, multitasking, addressing issues quickly, and communicating. He is extremely responsive and always helped me sort through the millions of decisions I had to make. He provided options, and ideas when I asked him. He found solutions to problems that came up unexpectedly and was fair with pricing and timing. I did a lot of research before hiring Eden Builders. I called references, asked a million questions, and requested photos. I’m so glad I found Alex. He is highly experienced, hardworking, solution oriented, and reliable. I would certainly hire him back for a future job or recommend him to friends and family. We are extremely happy with our addition and kitchen remodel.

We had an incredible experience with Eden Builders and Alex in particular. We’d heard horror stories about bad contractors, so we interviewed 6 different ones. Alex was so clearly the most professional and collaborative, we went with him. The bid was competitive- not the lowest, but also not the highest. It was worth it to us to pay more than the lowest, because we knew it was going to be a much better situation. We were thrilled. Not just with the outcome, but the whole experience. Alex was extremely communicative, he checked in with us almost every day. Telling us what was happening that day, who was coming and what time. All the workers came right on time. They were extremely professional, fast, neat, and they did terrific work. They even worked on Saturdays. When any questions came up, Alex came over himself and discussed them, answering our questions and fixing any situation that needed to be fixed. The job was done on time – well, 4 days after when we originally thought, but that was fine with us. Our partial kitchen remodel took 3 weeks and 4 days. Everyone else we talked to said it would take 6-8 weeks. It was impressive how quickly it all went. Alex always gave us a heads up about what to expect and when. He went way above and beyond to make us happy. We’ve already recommended him several times, because he’s that good and the workmanship was excellent. The whole experience was a pleasure. I cannot recommend working with Alex at Eden Builders more highly. My friends who’ve been through terrible experiences with contracts have been jealous, because our job was so painless and went so quickly. It was a wonderful experience and we’re happy on every level.

I hired Eden Builders to remodel my kitchen. They replaced the countertop and backsplash, added in new cabinets, refaced the old cabinets, and built a beautiful hood above my stove. Alex was my contractor and he was really great to work with. He was professional, organized, communicative and detail-oriented. Throughout the project, the whole team was clean, friendly, respectful of the space, and available to answer all of my questions. They finished the project earlier than anticipated and did a beautiful job! I will definitely hire them for any future projects. I highly recommend Eden Builders and Alex!

Alex Voloshin & his team are fantastic. They recently renovated my kitchen and bathrooms. They also replaced my roof and even the front yard fence. Alex is now THE contractor for my house. He will be returning soon with his team to update and repaint the house exterior. Alex is organized, knowledgeable and absolutely trustworthy. He is very detail oriented and cares that his clients are happy. He responded to my texts/emails promptly and always took the time to answer my questions. When necessary, Alex also connected me other service providers (e.g. whole house water filtration services) All the guys on Alex's team are super hard working, courteous and skilled. In the course of the multiple projects, I may have met them all: the demolition guys, electricians, plumbers, roofers, cabinet makers, tile & drywall guys, painters... Every one of them was competent, friendly and as tidy as their task allowed. Thank you Alex & Eden Builders. I love my house!

PROJECTS: March to December 2020 •Demo Old Back Unit and Build ADU (2 Bedroom, 1.5 Bath, 1 Car Garage) •Add Driveway, 2 Car Parking Pad, and Fence w/Motorized Gate •Full Kitchen Remodel “Gut job” •Exterior Concrete Work and Drainage After researching and interviewing several construction companies, we signed on with Eden Builders to demolish the unsafe back unit that came with our fixer upper and build an ADU for my mom. The project manager we met with, Oren Yona, spent the most time with us during the initial meet compared to other companies. He asked a ton of questions to really get a sense of what we were looking for. Oren did not take a salesman type approach like some of the others we met with, but he sold us with his matter-of-fact demeanor, intelligent questions, and overall trustworthy vibe. He got a very detailed proposal back to us outlining the expenses, timeline, and pay schedule, and we signed on. Construction began right around the start of the pandemic, meaning we ended up working from home and were able to watch the entire ADU project from demolition to finish. Every single crew member was super hard working and competent, and they work long hours to really stick to the deadline. (Any delays had to do with the city or with products I ordered that were held up in shipping.) Our foreman, construction crew, electrician, plumber, and cabinet maker were all super pleasant to work with. Oren really stayed on top of the project, making sure to keep the team on schedule, and me also since I had to make a million decisions along the way! I don’t think he sleeps because he’s emailing at all times. I’m very grateful they were so patient with all our questions and some of the inevitable last-minute changes and add-ons. Since we were so happy working with Eden Builders, we asked them to stay on for a second project and remodel the kitchen in the main house when they were done with the ADU, parking pad, and fence. This was a complete gut job where they replaced everything, including the old electrical wiring, floors, and sink above the window. (They had a ton to fix.) Our kitchen turned out GREAT! We got the modern retro vibe we were going for and love how our customizations came out: Narrow broom closet with power outlet for our Dyson floor vac, narrow shelves above our shutters for Funko Pops, garden window for our cats to sun in, usable corner cabinets, pull-out cabinet for waste and recycle bins, coffee maker/mugs cabinet with pocket doors, hidden cat litter cabinet with cat entry near the back door. We definitely plan on using Eden Builders in our future remodeling projects! It’s one less thing to worry about when you know the vendor you use prides themselves in good quality work. Eden Builders recently completed our kitchen and den remodel; we could not be happier with the results. The proposal/contract was impressively detailed and prices were more reasonable than competitors. Alex was well organized, responsive, and kept us closely updated. The team completed demo, removed a wall, installed new flooring to match existing wood floors, new cabinets and counters, recessed lighting and more—they were professional (and wore masks as a Covid-19 precaution). Our kitchen is an odd shaped (walls approach at an awkward angle), but Alex did a great job of offering solutions that made the space beautiful and maximized space. We are so happy that we chose Eden Builders.
