********ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK********I would strongly caution anyone to order doors from this company. To bad for me, I didnt see these reviews until after my experience. You will notice that the reviews with bad experiences, the company's response is ALWAYS geared towards what the customer should have done to protect themselves. I haven't seen a response yet where Ville Doors has taken ownership of damaged products. I used an installer recommended by their company. The installer did a good job. After installing the door frame, the installer began unwrapping the door and we both saw a 2 inch gauge in the door. You can actually see the silver from the unpainted metal. I called the owner, Anthony, right away. He insured me this would be taken care of as these sorts of scratches occur during transport some time He specifically said working with this material takes specific skill set and that he will personally stop by to repair it during his next trip to Chicago. I have been reaching out to him for the last six months and this still has not been repaired. Just the same story. He hasn't had a need to come to Chicago but has said on occasion he would be coming soon. I guess to get me off his back, he sent touch up paint and also sent someone to look at it once. That guy hasn't been back yet. The door needs to be sanded in order to smooth out the gauge and then repainted. Again, ORDER AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!!

I purchased this door and love the look but the middle of the door warped less than 6 months after it was installed. I submitted pictures and have sent several emails and no one will respond. I would purchase with extreme caution.

My experience purchasing doors through Ville Doors could not have been worse. I strongly caution and warn all buyers to reconsider purchasing products at Ville Doors based on my subpar experience with the product and with customer service. Several things went terribly wrong with my overall experience: 1. The delivery time frame for the shipment of my purchase was severely delayed. Prior to placing my order, I was told that the time frame for delivery would be 10 - 12 weeks. In reality, I received my items nearly 6 months later! 2. Beware: the sample item does not match the product. After receiving a sample of what a glossy door would look like, I placed an order for several glossy doors. When my doors arrived nearly 6 months later, the doors were not glossy at all and did not look like the sample I received! I immediately called Anatoli, the Ville Doors owner, in complete shock and he explained that the glossy film can look different on a small sample versus a large door. I was not told this pertinent information when I placed my order. 3. Several doors arrived damaged. Upon receiving the delayed doors, several of the doors and moldings were damaged, wet and moldy upon my inspection of them. I reported this to Anatoli immediately and he told me to keep the damaged doors for an inspection, however, no one ever came to inspect the wet doors and moldings. Eventually, all of the doors got damaged because of the poor quality of the delivery. I requested a full refund from Anatoli but never heard back from him. 4. Anatoli, the Ville Doors owner, is an extremely careless, sneaky and unprofessional dealer with zero customer service. When I purchased over 10 doors from Ville Doors, I based my order on the sample I was given. Since the sample did not match the items I received, I wanted to send back all the doors, especially since five doors were damaged. Anatoli did not answer my calls, voicemails, emails and text messages for my request to return the doors. I ended up doing a charge back through my credit card company, but did not receive the full amount of my purchase back. I continued my attempts in reaching out to Anatoli, but once again, he was completely unresponsive. Eventually, I hired an attorney to try to recuperate the remaining balance of my purchase. In response to my attorney, Anatoli rebutted by stating that I am a thief attempting to get my money back for the doors I received and that he would sue me instead over this matter. I'm strongly contemplating going through a small claims court to get my remaining hefty balance back. At this time, I lost $5,000 and have damaged doors that I cannot use. Based on my experience, I advise everyone to not purchase anything from Anatoli/Ville Doors and to take your business elsewhere to a reliable and honest vendor.

Placed an order for 5 interior and 1 exterior doors. Exterior door is fabulous -our house is the best on a block now . Our contractor messed up on installation of interior doors, so we asked Ville Doors to fix it. They did a good job, it wasn't easy though. No complaints. Tony (the manager) was very helpful.

Purchased door and had it installed by ville doors. Highly recommend it. Great clean work, amazing door quality. Can't beat the prices. Reliable and honest. Very happy with my new door.

Very happy with the service, installation and price. My front door arrived from Europe 3 months after they were ordered, installation took only few hours. Price was better then any special order from Home Depot, were all doors looked the same as 20 years ago. I'm very satisfy with the way my front door.

Reliable company which does exemplary work. There was some delay when the wrong door was shipped, and the installation was nearly perfect with a slight air and light leak near the bottom of the door. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

MGD: I had a great experience with Ville doors. They have many options to choose from, and were very accommodating and responsive when customizing the door to my home and preferences. When ordered, the door arrived on-time and was even more beautiful in person, in addition to being of great quality. I would definitely recommend Ville doors to my family and friends looking to replace their doors. I do not wish for my full name to be displayed with this review. Decided to order the front door "Milano" in Wenge finish anyway. Am I glad I did. The shipping process went smoothly and the door arrived in a very sturdy crate. The door is beautiful and looks better than the picture. The owner was very helpful, profesional and always available to answer all my questions.

These doors look great online. I recently ordered several interior (Dominika Wenge Oak) and an entry (Sophia double) door from this site and would not recommend following suit. First, they take a very long time to arrive. My interior doors took 3-4 weeks and the entry door was 10+. I was not advised at time of order regarding the heavy lead time on the entry door and when I called to check status was surprised with a 9 week estimate. It was also then that they explained that the entry door has to come from Germany which was also not disclosed prior to order. Upon receipt of the interior doors ($583-600 each after our selections) my husband found the quality to be very disappointing. The door perimeters are solid wood (we do not believe it is Oak as stated) but the decorative panels down the center are thin like plywood or particle board and instead of a stain or strong skin he explained they are skinned with a paper like material which was already coming off in places on a few of the doors. The trim is also very thin with that paper like skin and creates a cheap look to the doors upon install. We were lucky as we were already using a different trim to match our baseboards but if the included trim was all I had budgeted for I would have been very upset.The overall look is nice from afar but up close they were not the quality expected for the cost and wait time. We feel like these are misrepresented in the vendor's description on the website in regards to material and quality. All instructions including those for the entry door are in a different language (I believe the contractor said German) so exact function and install was not easy. We were lucky we had a good carpenter and that they just happened to figure out how to work the magnetic latches themselves. We are still dealing with how to get the entry door to work properly. Though the people are nice and the doors look pretty online I would not suggest ordering from this vendor as these are very expensive (I spent almost $14K for around 11 or 12 interior doors and an entry door) and take far too long. Your best bet would be to take a photo of the style you like and find a good carpenter to fabricate something similar if not exact. I believe if they want to charge these prices then they should be sending out high quality wood with either a stain or a strong laminate coating. We have already had to look at ways to replace these in the future and have not even lived in the house yet. That is how poorly they are constructed.

Regretfully, decided to work with Ville Doors as part of a residential remodel. The company's product packaging and shipping/crating is beyond horrendous and arrived at the job site damaged multiple times. There was zero customer service from seemingly the only employee of the company. Despite rejecting delivery both times, the company refused to replace the product or refund the purchase price, despite reporting the damage in real time. The company hides behind a requirement that a paper delivery receipt must note the damage- the catch is that their shipper only offers an electronic signature log with no manner to note damage. The first delivery I assumed my designee had simply disregarded instructions. I was present on the second delivery and called in real time to reject the delivery, as there was no other mechanism by which to do so from the freight company. He gave a verbal ok on the rejected delivery, but then called the following day to refuse responsibility. "Too bad for you." He related. Do not do business with this company.
