Über uns
My original approach was creating iron sculptures by welding together industrial scrap and other metalware. The observer was invited to interactively push, press and turn the pieces noisily into life.
The “industrial materials” that I used set me on a new course: industrial heritage itself became the theme of my artistic stance to understand industrial production at its roots.
I have acquired a milling machine (tool manufacturing) and die-cutting machines; my 42m2 workshop allows me to produce limited editions of my designs. The result is manufacturing according to early industrial models, and within the walls of a former butcher’s shop, where life and work were united almost one hundred years ago. Production methods have been modernised since then, I draw many individual parts using CAD technology and cut these with lasers.
I have been exhibiting my pieces at international shows since 2006. They are sold worldwide, delighting those that appreciate my archaic designs, this mixture of art and design.
