Ward Antique Fireplaces

These guys are absolutely amazing. We moved into a victorian house in December 21; they came out within 3 days of asking to open up our lovely fire place. The quality of the work is amazing and we are very very happy with the fire place. We then wanted to find a fire guard/ fender to compete the fireplace. We went to their work shop / warehouse to find one - which we did thanks to Alfie. Within a week, it had been completely renovated (sandblasted, painted and polished). The result is stunning - we're so pleased. Once again thanks to the team - and Alfie in particular! 100% recommend the team - really professional, friendly and high quality!

I just want to say a massive THANK YOU to Luis & Ted for the Christmas Hamster Rescue. Our hamster got stuck behind our fireplace and Luis rescued him. Honestly so grateful! Happy Christmas!

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ward for a reclaimed fireplace - they've been great. They have a really extensive selection of fireplaces on offer and offered good advice regarding size and materials. Fitting was arranged quickly and they were very patient with me, when the tiles I bought didn't fit..! So fitters had to return a second time - which didn't seem too much bother. George in particular helped me - he was quick to respond and answered all of my inane questions! I'm really pleased with how the new fireplace looks

What a fantastic team!! My Victorian fireplace was missing its bars and ashpan and I wanted it restored to its former glory... Ted found a larger, complete one, bought it, scaled down the missing parts and recast them to fit my fireplace - unbelievable dedication!! Mick then sandblasted my rusty original, polished it to within an inch of its life, and then highlighted the details beautifully. He did the same for the cast iron fireside dog ornament which now looks a treat. All the staff are so knowledgeable and helpful. What's not to like?!!!!

Super professional job, great friendly staff. I now have a gorgeous new fireplace which Ward Antiques managed to install a few days before Christmas, so we could enjoy a real log fire for Christmas!! I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. Sam Isaac
