The design professionals at Watson & Co are top notch! My husband and I have used their team on multiple occasions for projects both large and small... the results are ALWAYS SPECTACULAR. Chris and Stephanie turned our empty downtown loft into a sophisticated home we are proud to show off.

Watson and Company did an extraordinary job helping us complete a full remodel and refurnishing of our home. Every member of their very talented team heard and understood our style AND our lifestyle. They were collaborative, creative, professional, innovative, and a joy to work with. They also brought great resources to the table, including some local craftsman to build a few custom pieces. We have a home now that is beautiful, comfortable, livable, and is a very good realization of our dream. Working with Watson and Company was a great experience and we are thrilled with the results!

Our relationship with Watson & Co spans 10 years, 4 houses, multiple styles, and widely varying budgets. Simply put, our experience is that Watson’s expertise provides two things. First the standout and unique touches that are beautiful and impactful. Second are the smaller and almost imperceptible touches that create the feel of a home that’s both a representation of you and your family but with an elegance and uniqueness that can be felt if not directly observed. And this isn’t limited to soft finishes (furniture, etc.). We have relied on Watson’s input on all aspects of ground-up home building to remodeling including architectural design, kitchen layout, windows, lighting, you name it. They’re the first call we make.

We have used Chris Watson's design firm twice over the past five years and highly recommend his services, whether you need limited design assistance or coordination of a major remodeling project. Our first experience was on a small living room design project when we moved into our Cherry Hills home five years ago. As we planned on remodeling the home entirely in the future, we wanted to buy pieces that would fit in with the eventual planned layout of our home. Chris was able to select high quality pieces, coordinate custom fabric selections for these pieces and fabricate window coverings that perfectly tied everything together. We gave him a budget and a general idea of the look we were going for. With these parameters in mind, Chris presented us with three selections to fine tune the direction we wanted to go. From this, he was able to assemble a “look” that serve as the design template. At this point, he would present several options with different price points in mind. It was not so much as “Good”, “Better”, and “Best” as “Excellent”, “Excellent – but different”, and “Wow, that’s really expensive”. He was excellent about taking input from my wife on her design choices and giving her options that allowed her to get the look she wanted without having to spend days and days looking for options on her own. Being a busy professional, this was highly appreciated and worth every penny as it saved us thousands of dollars we would have wasted in the value of our time alone. At the end of this project we had a room of high-quality pieces that have been very durable and remain timeless five years later. We recently worker with Chris and his team on the huge, high-end home remodel we had planned when we first purchased the home. While our contractor offered design services, we had such a great experience with Watson & Co. that we elected to use Chris to help make all materials selection. However, it turned out that we found ourselves using Chris and his crew for far more. Chris was able to work with our architect to completely redesign our space. He advised bringing on Mark Cameron, his design and space consultant, to fine tune such things as room sizes, wall positioning and laundry room layout. They helped us maximize the livability of our space by making numerous changes that were extremely cost effective. Our contractor and architect were both very impressed with the modifications that Chris and Mark made to their plans. Chris then coordinated for the design and fabrication of custom kitchen cabinets with his cabinet maker, quartz counter tops, a custom fireplace accent wall and extensive custom tile installations. He made sure everything we selected worked well together so we had a seamless design theme. His tile installer was phenomenal the best I have ever seen. As a non-design person, I must say that I was initially very skeptical of some of the choices that Chris was recommending. It was well-beyond my comfort zone on many levels. He has access to pieces that you simply will never see at another store in Denver. However, he assured me everything would look spectacular when put together and he was spot on. The gold chandelier that I scoffed at is now the central feature of our dining room and it looks stunning. At the end of this job, we are blown away at the quality of the finished product. Many of our neighbors have commented that they have spent close to the same amount of money, but received nowhere near the quality of Chris’s design and work. Everyone who has seen our kitchen has asked how we were able to come up with such a stunning and cohesive design plan. I simply tell them “Call Chris”.

Chris, Mark, & Stephanie are as wonderful people as they are designers. They are conscientious of your budget & style, but aren't 'yes men'- they aren't afraid to give you their honest opinion, which was extremely helpful with our project. I can recommend them without reservations.
