We hired Jerry Bruno to design a full redevelopment of the interior and exterior of our house. We chose Jerry for his attention to details, his passion for design and his vision. We could not have been more pleased with our choice. Jerry designed a beautiful house, produced extremely detailed drawings allowing us to get comprehensive bids, helping us to ultimately come in on budget, and was a problem solver as the inevitable construction issues came up. Based on our experience and his portfolio, Jerry takes into account the existing character of the home and looks to come up with a design that matches the home. We would highly recommend Jerry for anyone looking for a creative and fitting design delivered with the highest standards of professionalism.

Jerry is a terrific architect and a wonderful person to work with. Easy to communicate with and sensitive to cost concerns, he always finds an elegant solution to any problem. We actually found him originally by doing a search for "architect near me" when we discovered (in our innocence) that we needed drawings to get a building permit. He not only jumped in to help with what we needed, but made numerous suggestions that really raised the level of the project. His drawings are thorough and thereby avoid Change Orders many Contractors use during construction to charge exorbitant additional money on projects. I respect Jerry’s refusal to “lowball” his fees to win a project if it means his construction drawings will be compromised. His projects, in the end, are always financially competitive. The quality of his design is apparent in the myriad of projects he has completed. Jerry Bruno is always the first Architect I recommend to people when I am asked for suggestions. We have worked with Jerry twice over the past 10 years (first on an addition and then on a full house construction). Both times working with Jerry has been an excellent and rewarding experience. Jerry took the time to understand our needs and our preferences and was able to incorporate our own sense of style into the plans. We continue to appreciate our house today and we would honestly not change a thing as we feel that every detail was thought out in advance. Throughout the process Jerry took time out of his schedule to answer our many questions. He was a constant presence on our job site throughout, working with us and our general contractor as questions and issues arose. I just purchased a home built in 1982, and reached out to Jerry A Bruno , AIA, for not only design ideas, but because the house had some exterior design problems that needed correcting. Jerry has extensive experience with Historical exterior nrestoration, and easily came up with a solution to periodic water infiltration due to snow damming . Jerry then focused on the interior and selected the right crown molding profile for my Kitchen, living room , family room, dinning room and jumaster bedroom, what a difference. He assisted in paint selection and hardwood flooring. This architect is accessible, hands on, gets the construction drawings done fast , comes out and answers all my contractors questions and even provided research on a proposed swim spa! We knew we had the right architect during our first meeting with Jerry Bruno. Almost immediately, Jerry understood our vision for a substantial renovation and addition to our 60-year old Cape Cod style home. Our goal was to modernize and enlarge our home, but most importantly we wanted the final result to appear as if it was the original house design, and not just look like a large box was tacked on to the rear of the house. Jerry’s insight, skill, and experience were instrumental in accomplishing all of our objectives. Through the creative use of flying gabels, a unique dormer concept, innovative window trim and other features, Jerry’s design and comprehensive construction plans turned our vision into reality. In what could have been a very difficult process, Jerry’s focus on detail, guidance on construction issues, and overall dedication to our project was invaluable. We highly recommend Jerry.
