We found Williams Outdoors Inc. via local magazines and Houzz. Luke's design aesthetic, quality workmanship and 5-Star rating resonated with us. During our first meeting it was clear that Luke had extensive experience and had a pragmatic approach. Every reference was VERY complimentary (and now we understand why). The design process was collaborative. Luke advised us that sometimes the property will reveal interesting opportunities (and challenges): which in fact it did. We extended the scope of our project to encompass a patio (vs constructing in a later phase) –that was one of the best decisions we made. Our project included the demolition and the reconstruction 3 decks (encompassing a front entrance and entertaining deck) and building a stone patio. I am glad we were onsite for the construction because I can appreciate how well built everything is. When it came time to select plant material, Luke took us to see different trees and plant specimens to see what we liked and what was available (mid 2020 i.e. Covid-19). [I’m very prescriptive when it comes to design but] we left it up to him to choose most plant material and placement. The space is simple, natural and it looks outstanding. We did not want the same landscape that everyone else seems to have… and we did not want it to look too rustic or too modern. I called a handful of landscapers/deck builders to get help with design and to get some quotes for new deck and screened in structure. Luke was the first one to respond and come to meet us. He spent time with us listening to our needs and wants, and our ideas. Then he came back with some beautiful designs and renderings. We were amazed at his creativity and designs and decided to move ahead. We had some difficult site challenges and had to modify some designs as we went along, and Luke and his crew were always helpful and accommodating. The finished deck and structure are amazing! We are so happy with the end result. The attention to detail and workmanship that went into this project are world class. The work behind the scenes, such as the ground prep and sub-framing are things that are rarely seen and easy to take shortcuts with, but not with this crew! This deck is as solid as they come, and will outlive me! The materials that Luke chose, and the contrasting colours between wood types, and the design details all come together beautifully. All of our friends and neighbours love it as well, and are now calling on Luke to do their decks as well. We highly recommend Williams Outdoors Inc.

We were in desperate need of landscaping after the house renovations were completed. Luke came over and we discussed what I wanted then he came back with the perfect design for the gardens and walkway even incorporating rocks from our property. Our idea was to create a backyard oasis in downtown Collingwood. We love to live outside and we now have a gorgeous space that invites us to do so every day, rain or shine! From the initial meeting to the final walk-through with Luke, we were impressed. In thinking about what stands out about Luke Williams and his company, the following words come to mind: Vision, Creativity, Collaboration, Communication, Workmanship, Integrity. These qualities, so often spotty among landscape professionals, were demonstrated consistently every step of the way. The planning process was thorough and detailed, the job itself made pleasurable by the consideration, skill, and tidiness of the crew, and the attention to every detail. Luke's unwavering adherence to a very high standard of material, workmanship, and finishing, and the overall congeniality of Luke and his crew, made the whole experience a very positive one. Several months later we continue to be thrilled with the finished product---our oasis exceeds what we had hoped for! Luke and his team did an outstanding job helping us create a beautiful backyard that we love to enjoy. He was very flexible with the design, giving us everything that we wanted. They showed up everyday and worked very hard, putting their heart and soul into creating an awesome outdoor living space for us.

An amazing experience with incredible results. Our back yard has been transformed from a woody forest into a family oasis that we enjoyed all the way through until the end of October. Luke and his team were punctual, paid attention to every detail, were able to come up with ideas that looked great and saved us money, and were a pleasure to have in our yard for 3 weeks while they worked on the project. Everyone that has seen our yard honestly thinks it's the best back yard entertainment area they have seen, functional and artistic. We think so too.

Throughout the entire landscape project process, I was impressed by the knowledge, expertise, creativity and problem-solving skills of Luke Williams and his team. Luke was very professional in his proposal presentation, timelines, and budget oversight. He listened to my specific needs and concerns and made thoughtful recommendations. Luke and his team were able to implement the design plan and make ongoing decisions that improved the initial plan, resulting in a beautiful yet easy to maintain space that we enjoy everyday. The high quality of workmanship, materials and preparation is evident in the end result.

After meeting with several other companies we decided to go with Luke based on his knowledge and realistic budget. They were always punctual in being on the job and always left the site in a tidy manner. Luke and his crew worked their magic when it came to creating our backyard oasis, which included a granite waterfall feature, pool coping and fire pit as well as planting of over 35 trees and hedges. At the end of it all, it all came together just under budget. Not a small feat! Well done Luke.

My lawn was never good but last years drought finished it and I was fortunate enough to have contacted Luke and Brent last September to have a look at it. They replaced the soil with triple mix and replaced the sod with some slight design changes in the layout. They did a terrific job from start to finish and it looks amazing . As one neighbour put it my lawn went from worst to first on the street.

We had Luke come to our home to take measurements and pictures to assess our need for a new walkway and steps. Within two days we were provided a full computer rendering along with the quote and options. We were very happy with the professionalism and quality of the work and are excited to have redone entrance to our home.
