Yellow Door Architects

Yellow Door is a young design practice headed by Joshua John and Juhi Patel, who aspire to create spaces that reflect an Indian contemporary ethos. Yellow Door takes particular pride in Design Detailing, ensuring that every part of our design is customized to the needs of a particular client, with the highest expectations of quality. The aim has been to establish an organization that can carry out large and complex building projects, while maintaining a high level of professional and technical competence. The firm is based on the belief that a multi-disciplinary approach is essential in dealing with problems involving Architectural, interior, urban and regional development. Joshua graduated from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. His experience in Bangalore soon after, saw him working with several leading apartment developers in the city. He was also part of the team involved in international competition projects. After completing his Master’s degree from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain, his calling has been towards parametric architecture, and using the latest technologies for research and development of digitally aided designs Juhi graduated from RV College of Engineering, Bangalore and completed her Master’s degree from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalunya in Barcelona. Previously Juhi has been a part of core design team at Khosla Associates with Sandeep Khosla and Amaresh Anand, in Bangalore and worked on a varied canvas of projects in hospitality, retail, residential and institutional segments.
