“We recently held a review of architectural concepts for the renovation of an athletic facility, and we invited A4 to participate, based on the company's knowledge base and prior experience. Not only were we delighted with A4's work, but the company's concept, presentation and illustrative materials were able to capture and inspire the imagination of our audience members. A4's renovation concept was forward-thinking, but in a way that was respectful of the history and culture of the surrounding area. The design was beautifully detailed, but also creatively addressed the macro needs of the entire site. Outstanding design work aside, the company's customer service has been well above par; Ross Cann has been accessible before, during and after the charette to answer questions and provide additional support. I would highly recommend A4 based on this experience.”

“Maria is a talented and creative designer. She is also a great listener and fun and easy to work with. The renovation of my entire second floor had some difficult parameters: take advantage of the ocean vista, increase the height of my ceilings without obstructing my neighbor’s views, keep the integrity of the architectural style of the house and adhere to the regulations of RI Coastal Resources. I wanted to replace the size of my small out-dated bathroom with my dream bathroom complete with a walk in closet with plenty of storage for clothes and accessories. The goal was to make sure there was a place for everything which included putting a washer and dryer on the second floor (but out of sight), not an easy task in the confines of my square footage. Maria’s architectural design fit perfectly with my 1948 Cape Cod style house. It was as if it had always been there. She understood all of my needs and desires and translated that information to create a plan that included all I had asked for. Maria communicated well with the contractor and vendors, spent time on site, stayed on top of every phase and was always available to me. In fact, in the process of the six month renovation, we became and are to this day fast friends! The completed renovation fulfilled all of my requests, and Maria was able to utilize every inch of space. She created a magazine worthy second floor without jeopardizing the architectural integrity of my 1948 Cape. Without hesitation and with the highest regard, I am pleased to recommend her for any design project!”
