“We recently began working with architect Wayne Visbeen on the remodel of our condominium in downtown Madison, WI, and we couldn’t be more pleased with our progress after the first meeting! Wayne took the time to truly understand our lifestyle and how we want the space to function. On the spot, Wayne used his amazing drawing skills to translate our conversation into two initial designs that blew our minds! His creativity and eye for detail are second to none. He added an important third bedroom, while still maintaining the character of the original space. Wayne also incorporated innovative design elements that made the most of every square foot, which is important in our downtown location, where space is at a premium. We highly recommend taking an initial meeting with Wayne to appreciate both the creativity and practicality that he brings to the table. “After purchasing a vacation lot near Lk. Michigan we desired to build a modest cottage that would serve our family comfortably into the future. All adults and children made a list of their "needs" which were then presented to Eric Hughes of Image Design LLC. He was extremely thoughtful and patiently listened to us at every turn, all the while understanding that we had a limited budget to work with. After visiting the site and gathering information regarding the activities taking place there, he proceeded by utilizing "universal design" principals to accommodate the various needs of our elderly and handicapped. His creation was a wonderful balance of both livability and sustainability. Being extremely knowledgeable in regards to "off the grid" design principles, he suggested various ideas for us to ponder, some of which we incorporated, making the end result both comfortable, workable and functional for years to come. Over the course of his decades of experience, he has accumulated a wealth of knowledge which he generously shares, resulting in the best outcomes for his clients. We highly recommend him.”
