“Knight Construction remodeled our kitchen, laundry room, and a bathroom, built a mudroom entry, and upgraded some closets. Throughout the whole process they did a great job. Their in-house design service helped to make navigating the overwhelming process of picking materials and finishes doable and fun. The workers were conscientious, professional, and thorough, and Knight Construction was very good about protecting areas of the house near the remodeling work but not a part of it. The finished results exceeded our expectations. The design work looked great and was also highly practical and functional.”

“It has been said that "some people come into your life and you can't remember what life was before them". Our families life has been changed by Steve Kleineman! We had a dream! His incredible selflessness and detail to not only his art, but to our family, along this journey is truly what allowed our dream to be realized. I came across Steve's work online in 2012 and immediately felt like someone climbed inside of my head and my heart and put images to my dream! I couldn't stop looking at photos of his work and couldn't get over the emotional connection I felt to them. He would graciously say I did not stalk him; but in all honesty; I did! I dove into finding every image of his work that I could find as the distance did not allow me to walk the halls of one of his homes. We live in Indianapolis. Steve was very open to working long distance with us and we started planning and drawing with Steve in 2012. Life happened and we had to wait as family issues pressed. In those times, Steve was beyond generous and kind and so very thoughtful of our families path. In 2015 we went back to the table. He graciously re-designed the home as our needs had changed with the passing of my parents. I'm overjoyed to say that within the next few days; we will Finally move into our very own Kleineman home. I'm in utter awe of the calming and peaceful atmosphere of living that is already beginning to seep in as we put in the last bit of elbow grease. I feel like I am completely surrounded by the most subtle art and what Steve has designed ministers to a vital part of me. I can see that it does the same for my family. This home is going to be a place of healing for us! A Place of laughter and the new nucleus for our larger family to gather. I speak transparently when I tell you that I feel stamina, peace and hope in these walls. Steve has designed a home that has given the core of who we are as a family a place to soar, create, be inspired, and rest and replenish all in one. Some may think it crazy; but this home evokes emotion in every single person that has stepped into it thus far and more importantly in the lives of our family. I thank God for bringing Steve into our lives - he is an incredible man and one of the finest in character with genuine humility that I have met in my lifetime. He remained steady; NEVER once side-stepping his professionalism in the face of standing his ground to a contractor on our behalf. He became one of our families biggest advocates and cheerleaders in the building process and affirmed to us on every turn that our dream was possible. He always found a way when others said "we can't do that". Steve is ALWAYS so insightful and solution minded. He is TENACIOUS! He designs literally inch by inch and it shows!! I thought I was a detailed person....THEN I MET STEVE!!! I doubt that I will ever work with Steve on building another home as I can't imagine a place I would rather live. Saying that; there is no-one on this planet that I would rather work with and alongside. You truly walk into a whole new dimension when you walk into and FEEL a Kleineman. Steve......we are forever indebted to you!”
