“We have had the pleasure of working with Phil Lamadeleine and his team at Custom CADD for over 15 years, and I can say without hesitation that he is one of the best in the business. As interior designers working on high-end custom homes and renovations, we rely heavily on the quality of the architectural drawings we receive. Phil’s plans are exceptionally accurate, thorough and easy to read. They follow industry standards, contain the level of detail builders and trades actually need, and most importantly, they can be confidently built from. Phil also brings an incredible depth of knowledge to every project. His understanding of the Ontario Building Code and local authorities is exceptional, including the complexities of conservation authorities and Lake Simcoe shoreline properties. When something complicated comes up, Phil is someone you want at the table. But what has kept us working with Phil goes well beyond his technical ability. He is a genuine team player who always has the client’s best interests at heart. He listens to the designer, builder and trades, and there is simply no ego involved. He is responsive, approachable, friendly and just a great guy to work with. His team deserves mention as well. Many of the people working with Phil have been with him for more than a decade. In our industry, that says a lot about the kind of person he is and the business he has built. I’m excited to see Phil bring his years of experience into Lamadeleine Design and this next chapter of his business. And perhaps the strongest recommendation I can give: Phil designed my own home. I trusted him with my house, and if I ever build another one, Phil will absolutely be the person I call. After more than 15 years of working together, I couldn’t recommend Phil and his team more highly.”

“My partner and I first learned about the BiglarKinyan team from a friend who had recently completed a full renovation of their family home. They spoke so positively about the experience that it immediately caught our attention. When we later saw the house for ourselves at a dinner party, the transformation was striking; it felt like an entirely new home, with impeccable fit and finish and a style that was simple, calm, and quietly elevated. A few days later, we reached out through the website, and within hours we were on a detailed call and had a consultation booked. We initially met with Fardid, whose depth of knowledge across real estate, design, and construction was immediately evident. With his guidance, we chose to renovate and add an extension rather than pursue a full teardown and rebuild, a decision we remain very glad we made. The design process was thoughtful and methodical, allowing us to make well-informed decisions at each stage. A 3D tour helped us evaluate multiple options clearly, and the team anticipated details we had not thought to consider. Despite exploring several layouts and making changes along the way, the design phase was completed on schedule and for the exact amount originally quoted. Construction pricing was equally clear and transparent, with detailed breakdowns that helped us understand both costs and value. Fardid has an exceptional instinct for creating value through smart design choices and well-considered features. We appreciated having a partner who approached our home, project, and budget with the same care he would give his own. Our extension and full renovation took ten months to complete. The trades were true craftsmen, meticulous in their work and proud of what they were building. The construction manager kept us informed throughout, and multiple team members were consistently engaged in overseeing the project. Questions were answered promptly, often within minutes, which gave us great confidence throughout the process. We have now been living in our finished home for nearly a year and cannot find fault in either the design or the craftsmanship. The kitchen is intuitive and a pleasure to use, and the materials remain durable, low-maintenance, and as beautiful as the day they were installed. One of our favourite features is the lighting automation, which provides soft, motion-activated illumination at night without the harshness of overhead lights. We are truly delighted with our home and deeply appreciative of the care, attention to detail, and overall experience provided by the BiglarKinyan team. We would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone considering a design or building project.”

“My wife and worked with Phil and his team on a significant transformation project, demolishing our existing home and building from the foundation up over a 2 year period. Phil was excellent to work with. As it was our first time undertaking a custom home build, we were unsure what to except. Phil patiently worked with us and provided guidance as we went through the design stage, then build stage. Overall, we are very happy in our new home and admire the design everyday - we would highly recommend Phil to anyone looking for a personalized service with focus on details, and high end design elements.
