“Where do I start…Ulisies and his team were fantastic! As a first time home buyer everything has been a new process for me. A friend and my agent recommended Ulisies and I didn’t need to look anywhere else. He met me within days of reaching out to do a walk-thru of what I was looking for. Some things were from my home inspection and others were “cosmetic” changes I wanted- he understood my vision and was able to tell me what to purchase and offered to also get items (ie. Paint) himself. I had a new ceiling fan installed, new track lighting, accent wall painted in the bedroom, moved the bedroom closet and secured it to the wall, as well as, electric panel and HVAC fixes. The whole project took 6 days and Ulisies kept me posted throughout the process, sending pictures and updates. I was speechless at final walk-thru, everything was beautiful! The biggest transformation was my kitchen- I had the cabinets painted, new kitchen faucet installed and hardware installed. It is stunning and the quality of the paint is fantastic (before and after pictures included)! I’m grateful to Ulisies and his team for making my first home so beautiful!”

“We looked for a contractor for quite some time. We clicked with IIan immediately. IIan took care to review the project, visiting with us twice before we hired him. No nonsense, no drama, no Taj Mahal recommendations, just sensible pros delivering quality work at a fair price. The Chicago Constructions team checked in with us often to confirm details, even those that others might have deemed small, but it all added up to make our new kitchen even more than we hoped. And that’s saying something. I had drawn the kitchen at least 100 times and saved for years to pay for it. In other words, I had high expectations, maybe higher than our budget would allow, but Alberto, Lorenzo, and Miquel, who were on site most often, exceeded them daily. We found ourselves missing them once the project was done. Great work, responsible, responsive, and genuinely nice crew. Good guys all around. Heck, they were even nice to our dog. We would hire them again.”

“We worked with Linda at DESIGNfirst to scope out initial designs for multiple variations of a major multi-floor / multi-room remodel of our home. She was extremely helpful in proposing and developing design ideas and effective at working with her team to turn around our proposal variations in a timely fashion with high quality. We ultimately held off on our remodeling plans for reasons completely unrelated to the outstanding work Linda and DESIGNfirst provided. We hope to revisit our remodeling plans at the right time, and when we do, we know who we'll call!”
