“Catherine and her team completed our 5 bedroom townhouse from start to finish, including choosing all upgrades and finishes. They dealt with all the issues inherent when dealing with a builder, made smart economical changes as needed. The result was gorgeous! Beautiful furnishing at reasonable prices with unique touches that delighted us. The space is stylish while extremely comfortable. Really I was blown away when I saw the result. I will definitely hire Catherine Staples and her team for our next project and would recommend them to all my friends for any project large or small. Sincerely, Danielle and Jeff Case”

“Working with the team at Madison Taylor Design is always a great experience! All aspects of the project are always smooth and easy. From a business to business standpoint, I would highly recommend Madison to any contractor, and I personally would hire them to complete any design/build projects for my family. “Nancy Lem started working with me in May 2012. I emphasize "with me"...Nancy is guiding the transformation of our very modest (read tiny) bungalow into the comfortable, functional and beautiful space we call home. Nancy guides us through each stage of our renovation with patience and grace not too mention considerable knowledge. She provides us with detailed plans, drawings, estimates and contact lists. Nancy helps us to determine our style & budget and provides us with encouragement to design/decorate outside our usual comfort zone. She works collaboratively with us and trade/craft workers to create designs that meet our unique tastes; Nancy does not impose any pre-determined or merely trendy tastes upon us. She does, however, help us to narrow our options and make choices that suit our vision and budget. Nancy Lem Designs envisioned and created a beautiful living room space for us by redesigning our fireplace & mantle area; our initial trepidation regarding the increased scale quickly dissipated upon completion of the project; the fireplace/mantle is now substantial enough to create the illusion of MORE space. We are amazed and delighted with the design which reads original to the period of our home! In preparation for our current project, a kitchen renewal/update, Nancy worked with us to recreate a larger, more substantial entrance/exit area leading from our kitchen to the lower level living space and the outdoor area. Nancy ensures that specific sample of our choices are available to us at all times to help us maintain our vision. We are very excited to continue to work with Nancy Lem Design to realize our "dream kitchen" which will fit seamlessly with the main living area! We're thinking ...perhaps the principle bedroom needs some refreshing and certainly the main floor bath could use an update and...hmmmm....well, whatever we decide, we know we'll be calling Nancy Lem Design!”
