“As the senior structural designer on one project, and design manager on a following project, I worked closely with the Glasshape team on the specification, installation and approval of a large number (100+) of marine glazing panels.
Marine glazing is particularly challenging due to the harsh environment and very high quality standards required by both the client and the approval authorities.
The Glasshape team were a pleasure to work with right from the initial phase of the projects, through to completion. They provided additional technical and practical assistance to wherever possible to assist in obtaining classification society approval. The laminated glazing panels performed above design requirements during testing which was very re-assuring, and is a testiment to the quality of the final product (the testing requirements for the glazing panels required some significant pressure tests). The panels provided my Glasshape represent some of the highest quality marine glazing I have witnessed during my 14 years in the industry.
The delivery times were as discussed during the development of the project, and any alterations to the original specification and quote were discussed and agreed in a timely and professional manner.
I would not hesitate to work with Glasshape again, or to recommend them to others.”

Their competitor won out b/c they had worked on a similar project near by, but too many layers, no single point of accountability with our project. We'd definitely consider Signature Window & Door Inc for our next project.”

“The Kolbe Gallery in Seattle helped us with all the windows and doors of our extensive residential remodel. They were professional and helpful and my Architect (CAST) introduced us to each other. We were looking for a contemporary window with minimal details and their VistaLuxe collection was a good match. They look great and overall construction feels good too. The one thing I felt could be better is the hardware on these windows. As with most other brands we saw during this project, the window hardware used on products these days do not have the same solid feel I was used to with older products. So if you are going from an older house to something new, you too will likely notice this. Overall, I think Kolbe struck a reasonable balance between looks, cost, and quality. I love how the finished product looks.”
