“MAY 2025 Working with Maria-Ximena Coriat, our interior designer, and her team at MXC Intl over the years has been an exceptional experience. We have completed multiple projects together, including the renovation of our principal bedroom and principal bathroom, both of which were transformed into spaces that are as beautiful as they are functional. Her use of materials and space is highly creative and thoughtfully executed. She incorporated colors and design themes that reflect our personal taste, resulting in a tranquil, restful bedroom and a modern, elegant bathroom. In addition to these spaces, she also redesigned our family room and living room. I greatly appreciate her ability to work with existing furnishings and reimagine their placement to maximize both flow and functionality, making our home more comfortable and enjoyable for our large family. “We are so happy with our mud/laundry room design by Distinctive Interior Design. We had very specific needs for accommodating a pulldown attic stair and a floor door opening into the crawl space. Nicole and Amanda created a design with custom cabinetry that gives us massive amounts of storage and counter space while providing easy access to both attic and crawl space. They also helped us with new flooring throughout our living room, dining room, kitchen and hallway as well as the laundry room. They transformed our living room area with their choices of sofa, chairs, area rug, coffee table, end tables.”

Danica turned the house into something light, lively, comfortable and fun. She changed the wall colors, all of the lighting and window treatments then helped select wonderful art for throughout. She dreamed up a new look and new cabinets for a section of the kitchen that fit in perfectly with the pre-existing kitchen space and makes it so useable every day. She selected furniture that is beautiful in every room and super comfortable. She is a joy to work with and truly professional in her roles both as designer and project manager with all of the contractors coming on site.”
