“Leyla came out for a 2 hour consultation. My intent was to get ideas and colors for a dining room and bathroom. It was totally worth it because Leyla seems to instinctively know design. In her mind's eye she saw a round table where I had been considering to switch out my rectangular dining table for a round one but I hadn't even asked her yet. She pointed to me that of all the pictures I saved for her to see what style attracted me, my current decor did not reflect it, in color or style. Seems like a no brainer and yet I didn't see that until she showed me specifics. She pointed out things like wallpaper and paint meeting without an architectural break was a no no. I never liked the way it looked but didn't know why. She honestly pointed out that my kitchen was too dark, and that I should repaint the dark ceilings. Her manner is direct, honest and cheerfully friendly. I had a long list of questions and she addressed every one satisfactorily whether it was about draperies, wall colors or furnishings. I would hire Leyla again. Sorry no pictures yet. Because I'm acting as my own general contractor and doing a lot of the work myself it is taking longer than anticipated, perhaps I can attach a photo later on.”

“Wendy is a very knowledgable and artistic designer. I enjoyed her perserverance and enthusiasm in getting a fresh, new bedroom remodel. She made a myriad of professional suggestions, and for the most part, we followed them. Her contractor put in high tech lighting, patched up the ceiling with new plaster, brought in new baseboards,and crown moulding. He worked with a painter to make sure that proper care was given to every detail. in addtion, he saw that all of the old materials were removed on time. Ilike the way that he made a conscious effort to make us as comfortable as possible while the remodel was going on. Fans, hoses, mats, and plastic sheetingi were applied to keep the dust and fumes at bay.
Wendy brought in high quality fabrics from a designer show that she had visited in San Francisco. She also helped me in selecting carpet, drapery material, bedding, framing,and floral arrangements on sight.
I was able to get a good discount on my light fixtures by dropping her name as well. Wendy found a tile man to install some tile for me in our bathroom as well. He showed up and worked over Memorial Weekend. Infact, all of the personel that we worked with proved to be respectful and on time. I love my new remodel! I'm glad that we made the decision to hire her!”
