We collaborated in reimagining my living space to be contemporary, keeping the southwestern vibe but with vibrant, cozy color and textures. In fact we didn’t just change out paint and furnishings, we built a wall to display our art and treasures! Elizabeth kept the project on budget and on time, a challenge as I was out of the country for an extended period of time. “We asked Lisa and Gregg for help in rethinking the interior of our home. We have a nice home about 2600 ft.² in Albuquerque which was built in 1993. We have lived in it since then. We had had some interior work done 10 years ago or more-particularly interior painting with lively colors. We had grown weary of that color scheme and we had never figured out how best to use the rooms or to place the furniture or to display artwork. Lisa and Gregg interviewed us and then came and looked at our house and in a very short order came up with a scheme-informed by their refined and sophisticated taste - to rework things, including new interior paint schemes and some new furniture in our living room/family room. In addition to some new furniture, a new rug or two and new paint, they reused a lot of what we already had but what emerged was the product of a coherent vision. The work began in March and was completed the first week of August. The delay was largely attributable the fact that the furniture was custom-made, particularly with upholstery in subtle patterns and colors to work with the overall paint scheme. The wait was worth it. Our house is so much more aesthetically informed . The color schemes, the design and placement of the furniture, a few new rugs and the placement of our artwork is just wonderful. We should have done this twenty years ago”
