“My husband and I purchased our dream lake house, but it definitely required some work before it would become a comfortable summer home for us. Knowing that we were two hours away, we needed to bring in someone we could trust to help make our dream a reality. We had ambitious plans to add a basement bathroom, bedroom and gym. We also needed ideas on how to brighten up our dark wooden kitchen. Lastly, we needed to furnish and decorate the whole house! We knew that whoever we brought in to work with us needed to be reliable, communicative and have all the right connections to get everything done. We wanted someone who could come in, manage it all and be pleasant to work with over this multi-month project. Angela and her team at Lakeshore Designs really delivered! Angela was able to act as our general contractor and interior designer working with us to get everything done within our specified time frame. The team was really fantastic to work with, very communicative and on-top of things. Like with any renovation project, we ran into some unexpected issues requiring some changes in plans and additional workarounds, but Angela handled it all like a true professional. We were well informed prior to changes and most importantly for us, Angela knew what needed to be done and made it happen. In terms of interior design, our requests to be minimalists with respect to décor and furniture were heard and respected. Our place looks really amazing now. It turned out better than we had hoped. Every time I enter the kitchen, I have a big smile on my face. The kitchen is now beautifully bright with fresh paint, a new backsplash and coordinating light fixtures. We truly could not have had the amazing summer we had this year without all the hard work from Angela and her team. Our dream lake house is now a reality!”
