“Finesse was amazing! They remodeled our kitchen, 2.5 bathrooms, installed a new HVAC, all new internal doors, some new windows, blew out a wall and put in new French doors, moved our washer/dryer upstairs and built new closets and storage space. We had multiple rooms that were stripped down to the studs and the floor and tile was replaced We have two children under the age of 4 and lived in the house with them and our dog through the whole thing and they made it possible. The people who work with them are amazing! They came early, stayed late and often worked on weekends. Elizabeth has great taste and worked with our taste and our budget to get what we wanted. Finesse stayed within budget and timeline even though we added items! We still have some things we'd like to do and hope to work with Finesse in the future!”

“Bullseye Wood Specialties did an absolutely fantastic job on our whole kitchen remodel. We love our new kitchen, and the work was actually completed a day early, on budget and with a minimum of disruption. When we walked into the completed kitchen, it was one "wow" moment after another. The natural cherry cabinets that Bullseye made are gorgeous as well as very functional, the granite they helped me select is stunning, as is the backsplash. During the design process they made excellent use of space, giving me a slide-in spice rack next to the fridge and a wine cubby on the other side. The use of space was so well designed that I swear it takes half the time to make a meal. The staff is very detail-oriented and went above and beyond to make the remodel go as smoothly as possible, which it did. The subcontractors also were very thorough, conscientiousness and punctual. I thought we'd be happy with the remodel, but even then it surpassed our expectations. I would totally recommend Bullseye to anyone interested in remodeling their kitchen. **********”

“I engaged Jeff as part of my kitchen remodel project. We did not ultimately elect to go with his company for the project, but he had great ideas, has a deep understanding of the engineering/structural aspects of remodeling and tried to go the extra mile to bring ideas to the table. Pricing was very competitive and in the range of other providers. Only reason we elected to go with another vendor was because we were doing some custom woodwork and he would have had to engage an outside partner to assist (that may have changed since early 2015). I felt more comfortable having everything fall under one company. If you're in the NoVa area I would recommend calling him out to provide design and estimate for your project.”

“We hired Ellene to draw a plan for our home renovation, which involved enlarging our kitchen, enclosing a sunroom, and reconfiguring an existing den. While other neighbors with the same model house had done projects to expand their kitchens, we wanted to use the combined space to get an additional bedroom, small bathroom, and larger kitchen while at the same time only reducing the den slightly. After taking measurements, Ellene spent hours discussing with us how we could best use the space to meet our needs. She asked detailed questions to make sure we would have adequate storage, that the kitchen would conveniently accommodate appliances large and small, and that the new layout would work for our busy family. She was a valuable resource as we made decisions about types of appliances, pantry design, and much more. Five years after the renovation was completed, I can say the money we paid Ellene (just a tiny percentage of the total project!) was money very well spent. We are thrilled with the kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and den, and at no point have I said "I wish I would have done X, Y, or Z differently." I have gotten Ellene's input on other home improvements since then, and she always adds a valuable perspective and is a pleasure to work with.”

“We found VKB to be a great choice for our full master bathroom remodel. They provided their estimate quickly and out of the 3 other quotes we received for this project they were the least expensive. The work was done with care, especially the tile work, which took longer than expected but only because the workers were careful and meticulous with their detail. We were short some tile, and in these cases they clearly told me what I needed to go get, which was much appreciated. The allowances in the budget for the fixtures and mirrors and such were generous; in fact, we decided to buy our own at Home Depot and received a credit. We relied on VKB to arrange the vanity/counter and shower door, both of which came out much better than expected. My only criticism would be a few minor details were missed, such as the drawer hardware, which came later and had to be installed separately. Overall, however, we were very happy with VKB and would certainly look to them again if we were considering any other work.”
