“I recently purchased and installed Torlys Everwood vinyl plank flooring in my condo and am extremely happy with this product. As promised the floors look and feel like real wood with the added bonus of being very durable and easy to clean. I have three pets and so far not one scratch from pet nails and they have been giving it a workout.
The combination of underpad and the cork backing that is attached to the vinyl is also appreciated as I have arthritis and the flexibility and soft feel of the flooring is easier on my legs, causing less stress to my joints and overall less pain when standing and walking.
I would recommend this product for anyone who wants a good look plus durability!”

“It is always a pleasure to work with Northern Wideplank on a project and their hardwood flooring is really in a class of it's own. There are many other manufacturers of engineered hardwood that produce products that seems comparable at first glance but once it is installed in a space you really see the difference in quality. The depth of the texture and quality of the wood is really in a class of it's own. That and it must be said that the whole team are always great to work with.

“We bought an old semi-detached house near High Park. It had wall-to-wall carpet, probably installed in the 80s. We had the carpet ripped up and discovered the original hardwood - face-nailed 3/8" rift and quarter-sawn oak. Unfortunately it was in rough shape - the previous owners had put screws through it trying to get the squeaks out. We brought Bill from Smithwood Floors in for a consultation. Even speaking to him on the phone he already had an idea of what was in the house based on the description and the location - his family has been in this business for a long time. He came to see the floors in person and advised they were too worn down to be refinished well, but the stairs could be sanded and refinished, which was consistent with what others had told us. He gave us an estimate for replacing the floor and it was not cheap! However, he gave us a sensible recommendation for period-correct replacement floor that fit the house's style, with slightly wider planks to modernize the floor without looking out of place. He showed us some samples and it did indeed look much better than the pre-finished floors available at the big box stores. Bill also gave us advice about how to cut costs by removing the existing floor, screwing down the subfloor, and installing the quarter-round ourselves (or hiring someone else to do it), and let his people do what they specialize in. He was happy to do the other work - but he would have to charge more for it than others might. I thought this was professional and gave us options to save some money without compromising on the quality of the finished work. In terms of payment - we paid for the wood after it was delivered to our home, and payment for the work was delivered after the work was done to our satisfaction. The finished result was beautiful site-finished, custom-stained rift and quarter-sawn 3/4" Northern oak in long planks, with 3 coats of polyurethane. It was done in about 1 1/2 weeks. It cost more than going to Home Depot but we think it was worth it.”

“After much searching on the internet and visiting showrooms and trade shows, we finally settled on Wide Plank Oak from Neue Floors. Being very picky about quality and careful about how we spend our money it took us a long time to decide.
Our top criteria was looks, but also very important were durability and price. This product had all 3.
The light colour completely transformed the room we were renovating. This was exactly what we were hoping for. With a hint of grain (so you know it was real wood) this bright floor now attracts more people to the room.
We did have a couple of options from other vendors but we chose Neue Floors because of their professionalism, service and knowledge about the wood itself as well as the overall industry. We were amazed at all the information they provided us: from global environmental impacts to healthy houses.
