“We recently purchased a custom home in Turtle Rock that was completed 12 years ago. The design, layout and construction quality are excellent. However, once we moved in, we realize a custom family room/bookshelf/media center circa 2004 did not support large flat panel televisions. We needed to do a major overhaul and turned to Houzz. We contacted a few finish carpenters and chose Gary at Master Built Finish Carpentry. There are so many great looking choices out there, and boy were we ever blessed with this choice. He and his team moved quickly throughout the process, educated us what each type of wood can bring to the party, and followed a design idea that we picked from this site. What he was able to build was even better. We went with solid pecan and a dark finish. No cabinets - just shelves. The result is a family den that combines a traditional comfortable appeal and what you would expect in a modern home. I have attached a photo from a family Christmas party from December. I will update with a current photo as we had some more things done with the room. Thank you Gary!”

“Paul is amazing - he asks the right questions so he understands what you want to accomplish with your project. He added crown moulding to my 1950s cottage and showed great attention to detail. The technique he uses for corners is especially good, other vendors have noticed and complimented his technique. He offered smart recommendations based on the style of my home (e.g. picture rails so I did not have to put nails in the original plaster walls). He also added a kitchen cabinet that exactly matches the originals, you cannot tell the difference he is that skilled. Also did a great job with the baseboards. It's one stop shopping with Paul, exceptional workmanship.”
