The design center should have standard wallpapers by Kravet, Thibaut, Schumacher, Brunschwig & Fils, Clarence House, Cole & Son, Cowtan & Tout, JF Fabrics, Osborne & Little, Philip Jeffries, S Harris, Scalamandre, Stroheim, Thybony, Zoffany, etc.
When I lived in Los Angeles I could find all those brands, and more, at the Pacific Design Center. I am now in southwest FL and need to drive to the other coast to get a similar selection to browse through and they are in different scattered design buildings miles apart.
San Francisco has got to be more similar to LA than FL!
Also the design center sample displays are much larger and much better to appreciate the pattern/scale/colors compared to the wallpaper books you will find in old style wallpaper stores, which do still exist, but are harder to find.
