I vote for the darker green. That color seems to have a history with home libraries (rather than rooms with books), and it look fantastic, providing a very British Library feeling.
I admit it is a color, almost the same shade as I used in my bedroom. The celing and all the walls and doorways and trim and baseboards are done in it and, in my opinion, it is perfect! I love the dark sensuality of it, the relaxing vibe, the way it draws me in to sleep.
I also enhance it with 40-watt incandescent bulbs in the table lamps so there is never a clash with bright light and dark surroundings. But that wouldn't work for a library where you plan to read unless you use very low wattage bulbs in any lamps besides the one you have next to your favorite reading spot.

I would look for a fabric that has just a touch of green in the pattern/colorway, to tie it into whatever green you choose for the walls.

The darker green, but with a different color ceiling.

That is stunnng already with a promise to be the queen of the ball.

Wow the addition looks like it’s always been there, so nice ~ enjoy!

Thank you! That’s the best compliment when it comes to building an addition.

I think someone posted this here once as an example of Halloween overkill.😳
I add a few Halloween items to my fall porch display about mid-October. They are more cute than scary like Chloebud's above. I also have an ancient 3-D puzzle of a haunted house that I assemble. I call it my annual cognitive and dexterity test. ;)
I got inspro from Blayke Silva video for my table.
