Gorgeous home! Love the flag flying! We had to lower ours because of the nor'easter.

I have a couple of suggestions...keep the railings white. Remove the shutters; they do not fit the windows properly; read the tags on the hydrangeas and space according to planting directions. They get very big and you want to make sure there is enough room the back side of the plant to grow.

You can also under plant with hostas and add small grasses into the garden.

Interesting how many don’t decorate as much when kids are gone. My mother was the exception. Even in assisted living she would have me put out as many seasonal decorations as possible. I even found some heart ornaments I put on her lighted tree branches for Valentine’s day. Kind of miss doing that for her now. For those who have nice decor they don’t use ask if any of the senior facilities could use the unbreakable ones for their resident areas. Most facilities don’t have the budget for decor.

I wouldn't mess with changing paint colors, who knows what the new owners will want? The landscape lighting freedomplace1 showed look good. Plant some annuals, display pumpkins and pop some brightly colored mums in pots. Make the ride up the long drive inviting, making potential buyers excited to see the inside.

Basically painting the front door or garage doors, and improving landscaping and lighting might help, but will not be game changers.

Hard to suggest paint colors, but I’d choose a color for the garage that blends in so it’s not the first thing that is noticed. Test a few colors on the front door and create a welcoming feel.

If it isn't broke, don't need to change it, because it looks just fine. Could you make it better with new doors, maybe, but it doesn't guarantee that it will help you sell it for a higher price. Clean it, if it needs it. Deal with the shutter issue, pressure wash the driveway. The landscaping is a little sad, with mostly boxwoods in odd shapes, but other than trimming, and maybe planting some flowers or bringing in a few container plants/flowers to add color/interest and call it done. I wouldn't put a ton of money or effort into that either, because the person who buys it will either love gardening and want to put their mark on it, or hate gardening, and will be glad there is little to keep up with.

Mostly what I would recommend is clean everything, fix anything broken or any possible safety issue, then listen to the realtor about how to price it, and price it appropriately.

Since 2019, I have had to buy, sell, or build 7 properties. Not all for myself, but for family who were either unable to do so, or were deceased. Longest time in the market was 2 weeks. The last property sold for the full asking price, and closed this past July, which was not exactly a hot market.
