Can they be left outside in New England? - Are these durable like teak? Can they be left out in wet weather during the summer? What product can be used to seal them?

can it be used in a large vanity? - I have a six foot vanity with a single sink. Can this be dropped into the countertop? Or is it intended to be the countertop?
