We are replacing 34 y/o cedar clapboards. The Hardee is a cement board, the color is permanent and won’t need to be painted it is crazy expensive , but it made the most sense. Mr won’t need to climb a ladder to fix little rot spots. It has a 30 year warranty, we will be long gone before that!

My younger son saw the gall bladder specialist yesterday and surgery will be in 5 to 8 weeks no date yet. There are pseudocysts (whatever those are)… on the pancreas which he says is common, and they are reducing in size.

And…full moon over Chieti Italy, where my friend (partner of the dear friend who died last fall, in the heritage home) is relocating. He has Italian ancestors so can repatriate there. He has had such a fascinating life…grew up in Argentina, lived for years in Canada, then China, and now, moving to Italy and buying a house there. Fall leaves are just beginning…asters are blooming, and the burning bush leaves are turning.

Sam, I would mail you those earrings as a gift, except the Canada Post package mail to USA has gotten so effed up in red tape now, due to the tariffs fiasco. I don’t even mail packages to family. Ugh.
