Mein nächstes Projekt: Wood rot on the east and south side of my home. There is a learning curve in dealing with a construction project and contractors.
Now it is January 2018 and wood rot project has been completed. Dave Barnett (Oakland carpenter and all round household crafts person) took care of smoothing the details in the wake of the contractors who worked initially on my home. Now, my check list has been completed (if you want to know all that's been done by Dave, send me a request)! I'm on to the last round (next to last, really because the last will be to restore a portion of my dining room floor) - kitchen where a new drainboard is badly needed, and back splash, and also a new floor. I've been seeking input from friends who have worked on their homes successfully. Soapstone counter top and back splash and Marmoleum Mannington plank and floating flooring.
