What is the best location to install the outdoor unit?

There are a few factors worth considering when installing an air conditioner’s outdoor unit.
https://www.airconditionersductless.com/

Installing the outdoor unit in a safe, dry and well-ventilated area is advised. Making sure your outdoor unit is clear of trees or a dusty area (like a driveway) can further help you keep your air conditioner’s filters clean and less likely to get dirty or blocked.

Keeping the unit out of extended direct sunlight is also beneficial, as exposure to hours of the harsh Australian sun will mean your unit has to work much harder to combat its own internal temperature.

Finally, keep in mind also the location of your bedrooms and of course your neighbours, as the outdoor unit does make some noise when operating.

Ductless heat pumps were specifically designed for quiet, reliable operation, with features like an insulated compressor compartment and vibration dampeners. And because mini splits don’t require ductwork, you won’t hear any of the noise from loud fans coming out of the vents and ducts of your central forced air system.
