Wood & Washi

25 years ago, inspired by natural materials and the culture of the land of the rising sun, we created a product, that still doesn't have any analogues in the world - Wood & Washi window decoration and space zoning systems. They are an excellent alternative to the usual fabric decor and synthetic blinds. Throughout the lifetime of the brand, we have been improving the technology of the mechanisms, making them more functional and convenient for everyday use. Only one thing remains unchanged. Washi material is made according to ancient traditions dating back to imperial times. Since 2014, the Washi production method has been listed as a UNESCO Intangible Heritage. We select only the best and integrate them into our systems: Rollo is the most famous and best-selling product for window decoration and space zoning. It can be manual or fully automated and can be integrated into the "Smart Home" system. Panel - a modern version of Shoji partitions, with more advanced features: compact, lightweight, and mobile. Slides - vertical ribs made from American linden wood. Each profile is controlled independently from the others, and the system itself can move horizontally around the window perimeter. Flow - dynamic screens that move vertically independently of each other, opening the wanted part of the window, while also maintaining the needed privacy. Banner - vertical ribs, which can rotate up to 180 degrees. Suitable for 45 degrees angled windows. All types of systems can be decorated using ribs, made from anodized aluminium. In addition to decorating the interior, they will ensure smooth movement and a snug and secure fit. For personalization, you can choose prints of any complexity, be it perforation or any combination of Washi paper colours and textures available in our collection. Our product can be used for both private and public areas. They are heat resistant up to approx. 65°C, fire resistant (class B2, DIN 4102), highly resistant to bright sunlight, (tested by TNO for light fastness according to ISO 105 B02). All our products are individually made to order, at our production facility in the Netherlands, for any consumer's request.
