We had the honor of being one of Stacy's first clients nearly a decade ago. Our experience with him early on was phenomenal. We love our home and the work he did but what has stuck out with us all these years is his professionalism, integrity, and customer-facing approach. Stacy and his team did an amazing job with our property. It's a home converted to an office, and his team really listened to our vision for the place, as well as our budget constraints. When our project was disrupted by the shutdown due to COVID-19, they rose to the occasion and communicated with us every step of the way so we felt confident they'd get back to work just as soon as they could safely and legally do so. While many less experienced contractors would have let our project stall much longer, due to losing employees or sub-contractors, Eakman Construction rapidly adjusted their business model to accommodate the unexpected changes, and took care of us. The best part was working with Mike, the onsite Construction Manager, since frequent and timely communication was critical to us and our business. Stacy and crew relentlessly ensure quality and customer satisfaction. They helped us from start to finish upgrade our 1,400 sq ft, 3 bed, 1 bath house with a 1950's era kitchen and older bones into a beautiful, modern 2200 sq ft, 3 bed 1, 3/4, 1/2 bathroom house with the space needed for our family. As with any major remodel, issues arise, and Stacy, Jake and company solved every problem on time and budget. Stacy hires quality subs, who continue to stand by their work after project completion.

We contracted Eakman Construction to do a substantial remodel to our split level house. This involved adding a second story to one side of the house, expanding the footprint of the house and overall adding roughly 900 square feet to the property. This company is very professional and made this process as easy as possible on us. From the start there was a detailed plan for the house, weekly progress meetings on site with our project manager and they helped us work through getting all the right interior material and furishings we wanted. We always felt like we were in the loop and understood the current state of the project. Our neighbors were very pleased with the work as well. They said the company kept a clean site, had very pleasant employees and was communicative when they would be doing some louder parts of the construction. We've been back in our house for a few months now and we're extremely happy with the results. I would absolutely use Eakman again for any future construction projects.

Eakman team was extremely detail oriented and communicative. I am a highly demanding client and all of my needs were met. As the project neared completion and even after move in, it was very easy to get a hold of my project manager - you often hear the contractor drops off the planet when the bills are paid. This is not the case for Stacy and his team - they continue to meet my needs even after 3 months of living in the space!

We worked with Eakman constructions for our house renovation which includes, demolishing existing toolshed, leveling the ground, building out attached garage, driveway, retaining walls and fence. I am very impressed with the quality of work and timely communication provided by Stacy and his company (Ron, Marvin). At any point of time during construction (barring inevitable delays) we got prompt daily updates, weekly meetings about the project status and future work. Stacy, Ron and his crew showed excellent professionalism and quality of work, which shows in the final build.

There are hundreds of decisions you will make on a remodel both small and large. Our first decision selecting Eakman Construction we found out was our most important and best decision. We interviewed more than 1/2 dozen contractors. He was one of the only contractors to look at the plans and take the job seriously. Extremely professional intake process that not only gave us the impression that he wanted the job, but he also put genuine thought into the project, not just a quick quote. Every employee worked together with a single focus on making the project right. One part of the project was extremely technically challenging and a few contractors had no clue how to approach it. (One even asked me how I would take care of it.) Eakman handled the most difficult part with planning and clear process. Working through a punch list with some contractors has always felt like you were annoying them and asking for 'extra' work. I was pleased that Eakman seemed eager to fix everything and make it right. The project manager was great to work with. The family that hires Eakman Construction is someone concerned with quality, prefers clear communication, and appreciates a system of construction and management that drives drawings into a living space. Oh yeah. On-Time and On-budget - If that kind of thing is important to you.

Stacy and his team at Eakman Construction just recently completed building our new house in West Seattle and it was an overall great experience working with them. (see the Gatewood pics!) They handled the entire project from tear down of our old house to handing over the keys to our new house. We were so grateful to have worked with a contractor that does very high quality work, cares a lot about their projects and relationships with clients and was trustworthy. Stacy is hardworking and very personable; he's fantastic with communication and being the middle man with married couples! He also does a good job with the planning, estimating and budgeting process; his proposals are detailed and transparent which creates trust. He's got great business acumen and will continue to be successful no doubt. Justin the site supervisor was very detail oriented and always managed to come up with creative solutions to a variety of situations. I was impressed. Excellent ! Our neighbors recommended Eakman Construction and we had seen the quality of the work before we contacted them. We had a large complete remodel of our basement. From the first day we felt confident that our project would be done exactly as we wanted. Stacey and Sheryl helped us with everything that needed to be done and worked with us on all decisions and listened to what we wanted and needed. Kyle and Rick on the job site were amazing and were incredibly hard workers, keeping us updated with all that was going on and timing of the subs. We were very impressed. When we did a kitchen remodel a few years ago the experience was not a good one with litttle or no communication, not like this experience. This project went over and above our expectations. The basement looks wonderful and the workmanship is excellent,. Everyone working on the project took great pride in their work. Overall it was a great experience and am looking forward to working with them on another project we have in mind in the near future. Stacy Eakman and his onsite crew were professional, courteous, and quick to resolve problems. When residual issues arose, they were quick to resolve them. The subcontractors displayed the same calibre of respect and quality. Eakman Construction has a commitment to customer satisfaction and their goal went beyond quality construction; it was important that we were happy customers throughout the process. Also important: we stayed on budget.
