JFY Pools

I find your review to be absolutely false and not at all correct.

1.) JFY DID NOT INSTALL THIS POOL-we did not become service technicians for Kayak until March 2015. You cannot install a Kayak Pool without certification and that was for SERVICE ONLY NOT INSTALLATIONS. We do not need to lie we have been in business far too long and have a steller reputation. I have attached our Kayak Certificate with date on it to prove dates. There is a Sean at Kayak that is an installer but we are not him.

2.) It may not have rained that night, but it rained the day before and there were puddles in the sand. As a matter of fact, Crystal your mom and David your father who are actually the true owners of the pool contacted us to let us know they were getting the water out so Sean could come back and finish the job.A professional pool installer does not install a liner on top of wet sand for obvious reasons. Mainly because the floor would never be able to be leveled if the sand was wet. We do not deal with all climates as we live in the Midwest and only install pools when the weather is permitting. I have attached a picture of the pool floor with puddles.

3.) Because we are a professional company who as been in business over 10 years, our spring/summer schedule was full and no openings were available until that time, and we even pushed other jobs back to accomidate your parents. To make matters worse I'm not sure if your aware that June 2015 was the highest amount of rainfall Northern Illinois had on record. That pushes jobs back and is out of our control. Furthermore we did not receive the work order from Kayak until 5/28. We were booked until the end of July at that point because we are a reputable and highly recommended company. See attached work order for that as well.

4.) Your parents were 6 hours away from us. Its not very easy to schedule that in to our calendars. The guys left early that morning and worked well into the night under spot lights and did a fantastic job. Sadly I do not have those pictures because that phone was damaged. I do have the contact info for the installer who took them and you can message me for his name and number. Sean did schedule to come back out and finish the following Friday and was three hours north on his way to your parents when your mom cancelled. AGAIN PUSHED OTHERS BACK TO GET THERE AND WASTED AN ENTIRE DAY OF OURS ON THAT!! We are a small family owned operation, that was very financially damaging for us. Again your parents are 6 hours away and Sean was in the process of building a $150,000 inground pool that demanded his attention and being gone and that far away was not very feasible.

5.) WE ended our relationship with Kayak-NOT the other way around and at NO time have we ever had a problem prior to your parents. Kayak has an awful reputation and WE chose to end it. Also see attached e-mail from president about your mom and our relationship with Kayak.

Finally, I would suggest that before you put false and damaging reviews on a company's website that you do your research first and secondly you actually be the client whose pool was being worked on.
