Bulli Bathroom project
The designer’s inspiration was to emulate a luxurious day spa experience every day for the clients and to introduce a sense of calm and glamour. Beautiful Italian matte textured tiles were specified for two walls. In a warm grey and warm white tone with a random set of nine patterns, the overall visual effect is stunning. The white fixtures and pendant light pop in a contrast of simplicity. Warm matte grey tiles were used for the floor and shower space to complement and not compete with the feature tiles. A very simple warm white suspended vanity with a formed top and basin adds to the elegance against the wall of mirror. The organic shape of the bath was deliberately replicated in the vanity basin, toilet and pendant light specified by the designer for consistency and to soften the feel of the space.
Lighting was kept simple with LED down lights for functional use above the vanity and one only in the shower room. The pendant provides ambient light within the space and can remain switched off when the bath is in use in favour of candles.
