A railroad tie retaining wall was removed and replaced with this stone retaining wall along the driveway. It is capped with blue flagstone. A hedge of fothergilla is planted above the wall in front of the neighbor's privet. A 'Winter King' Hawthorne has dropped it's leaves, but will provide red fruit on the branches throughout the winter. A young planting of boxwoods and perennials around the mailbox will fill in and provide color throughout the seasons.
