Pugh Street
The original tub in this alcove was a dated jetted tub with brass faucets set into a tile decking. We replaced it with a free-standing Serenity 11 Air tub by Aquatic. The homeowner didn't want to have to lean over the tub to turn the water on, so we mounted the volume control and diverter to the right and installed the Brizo tub spout on the back wall. Valves and trim are Cassidy by Delta (including hand held). Mounting the blower for the air tub took a little thinking. Due to location limitations, the blower was installed in a box under the house. To pull in conditioned air, we put a 10" x 4" HVAC supply grate in the floor and connected it to the blower box with an insulated (R-6) duct.
