The Heat is On!
The ovens heat to 650-750 degrees. The fire is started on the oven floor, right inside the opening/door using hardwoods such as oak. (Note: never use pine or spruce.) After a while, move it to the middle. When hot enough (in about 1 to 1-1/2 hours) move the fire to one side. In this heat, a pizza takes only 3 minutes!
